11 Day Adventurous Journey To Manang Guided Motorcycle Tour in Nepal

Day 1: Kathmandu

• Altitude: 1300 meters

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and meet, assist, and transfer to the hotel with Aarya Village Travel's representative. You will have welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of the tour program by one of the representatives from Aarya Village Travel.

Day 2: Kathmandu (preparation)

You will be introduced to the guides and other crew including a short ride around the city for two hours.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Besisahar (180 kilometers / 112 miles)

• Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
• Terrain: rough road
• 5 to 6 hours ride

You will start your ride to Besisahar from Kathmandu after breakfast. This ride will take you through some winding roads next to the fast flowing rivers such as the Trishuli and Marsayangdi offering some spectacular views of the hills and the settlements of local people.

Besisahar is the headquarters of Lamjung District, which is known for its beauty and as the starting point of many treks. Overnight in Besisahar.

Day 4: Besisahar - Tal (38 kilometers / 24 miles)

• Terrain: rough road
• 4 hours ride

The ride from Besisahar to Tal is one of the most difficult terrains. The path is a rocky single lane track with stones and occasional waterfalls. Deep gorges and valleys can be seen on the way as there is a gradual change in the scenery.

This is a good trail for adventure and thrill seekers who like to challenge themselves. Enjoy the view of Lamjung Himal (6983 meters) and Annapurna II (7937 meters) from Chame. Overnight in Chame.

Day 5: Tal - Manang (68 kilometers / 42 miles)

• Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
• Terrain: rough road
• 4 to 5 hours ride

From Tal, you will ride out to the valley of Manang after breakfast. The ride is easy at first and then starts gets difficult as you move up. As you go forward, you will reach Pisang village which almost feels like you have time traveled to the past.

Beautiful houses and stoned paved path and the fluttering of many prayer flags glorify the natural beauty of Pisang. You will also get magnificent views of the Annapurna Massif against grasslands where wild horses and different cattle graze.

There is the gradual change in the landscape where the colors of grey and green complement each other really well. You will pass through monasteries and small tea houses that offer basic but good accommodation for the many that come here. Overnight in Manang.

Day 6: Exploration day (ride to Khangsar)

• Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner

Today, you will have a full day exploration tour at Manang Valley. You will also explore another village called Khangsar, around 16 kilometers. It’s a nice village of Tibetan settlement. You can have 360 degree Himalayan view from Khagsar and it is awesome!

Day 7: Manang - Jagat (70 kilometers / 43 miles)

• Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner

Today you will retrace your way to Jagat via Pisang, Chame, and several others. You will reach the village of Jagat overlooking the Manaslu Massif. Rocky terrain is the way of this tour which makes it more interesting for the biking community. You will see grassy lands and cross many small streams before reaching Jagat.

Day 8: Jagat - Bandipur (80 kilometers / 50 miles)

• Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner

Today you will ride to Bandipur for around five to six hours. Bandipur is the Newar Cultural Village, presents with a heavy mix of history, architecture, incredible views, awesome caves, and unspoiled landscapes.

You can take a view of beautiful chain of mountains Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Langtang, Manaslu, and Ganesh Himal from Tundikhel. Evening walk around admiring the vistas, chat with the friendly local people, and admire their local way of life.

Day 9: Ride back to Kathmandu (148 kilometers / 92 miles)

• Meals: breakfast, lunch

Wake up call with hot coffee or tea. After breakfast, ride back to Kathmandu for around five to six hours. Check in hotel. You will have rest and refreshment in the hotel or go for optional tour around Kathmandu Valley.

Day 10: Free day in Kathmandu

• Meals: breakfast, dinner

Today you will have free day in Kathmandu to scroll and shop around by your own. In the evening, you will go for a typical Nepali dinner with live cultural show by different ethnic group. It continues for three hours.

Day 11: Departure

• Meals: breakfast

Approximately three hours before your scheduled flight, a representative from Aarya Village Travel will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
