Enjoy an adventurous winter activity during your time in Fairbanks. On this snowmobile tour, your guide will lead you through a true winter wonderland so you can explore the frozen rivers, lakes, and snow-covered mountains around the Chena Lakes recreation area in North Pole.

During the tour, you will stay at Alaska Wildlife Cabins and Hostel. At Alaska Wildlife Cabins, the staff take care to provide customers-friendly and helpful services personalized for guests' unique needs. Individual opportunities for overnight lodging, helpful information, common events are not a problem for them.
There will be free bedclothes, towels, and Wi Fi. The staff speak English and German.
The cabin is located close to the scenic of Chena Lakes and the famous Santa Clouse House in North Pole. Enjoy the comfort of home in the Alaska rustic charm cabins, handcrafted by the hosts. The cozy and lovely designed cabins are nestled in a beautiful natural setting with a breathtaking wilderness view.
Make your way to the tour office in North Pole, a suburb of Fairbanks, and start with a brief safety orientation and instruction. Get geared up for the winter conditions, then start your snowmobile adventure! You are able to choose between the single rider option (one machine for one person) and the double rider option (one machine for two persons).
Start with a safety briefing, gear fitting and an introduction of the snowmobile operation. This will take approximately 30 minutes. After this, you will be ready to explore Fairbanks’ breathtaking surroundings by snowmobile through a beautiful winter wonderland, crossing frozen lakes and rivers, scenic mountains, endless remote trails, and hopefully see wildlife such as moose, fox, or snowshoe hare.
The Chena Lakes Recreation area offers a variety of beautiful and well-maintained trails, lakes, and rivers ensuring an adventure of a lifetime. After enjoying the drive through Alaska’s frozen back-country by snowmobile, warm up with some hot chocolate, tea, coffee and snacks.
There will be two days of snowmobile adventure. The departures of tours are 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

There is no transportation available from the airport to the cabin. Alaska Wildlife Guide can help you to set up transportation with a taxi company for an additional charge. However, the tour will start right in front of your door.
