Visit the elephants and adventure yourself to the morning trekking session of the less explored places in Southeast Asia and at the south of the Cambodian coast, a perfect area for bikers who love landscapes by the sea. Full of emotions and places to discover, you will have fun and at the same time relaxing by the sea of Cambodia.
You will be staying in a standard accommodation at a boutique hotel with air conditioner. You will be able to choose from a double or a twin room.
Leaving Phom Penh by the motorway and heading east following the Mekong passing through Kampong Cham and its province. There, you will take a break to eat. Then, you will head to Snuol following highway number 7 where you will stop for the night. That first day will give you a chance to know the bike you are riding with and to enjoy Cambodia’s countryside.
Taking an early breakfast and en route for the first real off road. After 20 kilometers, you will take the King's trail. It will be 100 kilometers of red dust, mud, rock, bamboo forest, and sand. You will pass trough small isolated village and wonderful hill point view. You will then arrived in Sen Monorom where you will take a long deserved night.
After an early breakfast, you will ride down to the amazing Boo Sra Waterfall. After visiting the beautiful waterfall, Asia by Moto will make you ready for a hard day riding, visiting hill tribes along the way.
Welcome to central Ratanakiri's biggest town, Banlung, home to the spectacular Lake Yeak Laom. Surrounded by tropical forest, the clear water will be a refreshing break. You will also visit some great waterfalls, one 30-feet high where riders will be able to take a leap into the water below.
Riding on some of the best trails and crossing multiple rivers, you will head north to the Laos border. Then, you will follow the mighty Mekong to the riverside town of Stung Treng. There, you will enjoy some cold beverage watching the sun set over the river.
Starting the day by crossing the Mekong on the ferry then you will start a long ride on a wide red dusty (or muddy in rainy season) road riding through the countryside.
Boots on and ride on sandy trails through a wildlife sanctuary. You will stop at the impressive Preah Khan temple to eat. The trip to Siem Reap will be on a sandy and rocky trails and finish to a rocky and muddy road (road 64 to add from the book).
It is up to you what you do with your day. Whether you want to lay by the pool all day, do a spot shopping at the markets and explore the city, explore the ancient temples of Angkor, or do all three. In the evening, you will all meet for a meal while watching some cultural Khmer dancing.
Jumping back on the bike, you will head west out of Siem Reap and ride through the beautiful Battambang province. It is a beautiful scenic road which passing massive rice paddies.
As you leave Pailin, you will start to climb the windy tracks up into the Cardamom Mountains, riding the ‘Sticky Road’, stopping for lunch in Chankar Stoeng, enjoying spectacular views and finish in the small town of Pramaoy.
The smuggest trail is known as one of the most difficult roads in Cambodia, be ready to sweat and use a lot of energy. You will cross a large river, ride on rocky and stony trails with, of course, a track that will be full of mud. Arrived in Koh Kong for a good meal and a long night after all those efforts.
Exploring in and around Koh Kong, there will be plenty of things to see and do like waterfalls, islands trips, karaoke, eating good food, or enjoy a lazy day swimming in the pool of the hotel.
After that good day of rest, you will ride through dense jungle trails with more sandy, rocky, and muddy trails and more river crossing. Stay in the small village of Chi-Phat for the night.
For the final day of riding, you will ride the tarmac out of the Cardamom Mountains and head towards Sihanoukville. You will spend the afternoon tearing through some final jungle trails and cooling off at Sihanoukville’s waterfall. You will ride a dirt track into Sihanoukville, stopping briefly at a hilltop viewpoint, and then heading to the finish line, the beach.
