Day 1: Delhi to Chandigarh (250 kilometers / 155 miles)

Flag off early in the morning for the much awaited dream road trip to Ladakh. You will stop at Murthal - for breakfast the road condition is very good and easy to ride with no off roading. Reach hotel after first day ride. Have some time for local sightseeing and dinner at comfortable hotel.

Day 2: Chandigarh to Manali (300 kilometers / 186 miles)

The beautiful valley of Manali is nestled in the Himalayan region. It lies 6,000 feet above sea level, on the banks of beautiful river beas. Places to visit are: Hadimba temple, Mall road, Vashisht temple, and the hot water spring.

Day 3: Manali to Jispa (140 kilometers / 87 miles )

Your long-awaited ride to Ladakh finally begins. Pack your bags and get set for a thrilling ride. On the way, you will pass by Vashisht hot springs. Although Manali is known for its freezing temperatures, these hot springs which are located 6 kilometers from the town, have temperatures ranging from 43-50 degrees Celsius. You will then visit Solang valley, known for a variety of winter sports, followed by Rohtang pass and Keylong. Once you reach Jipsa, an overnight stay will be provided the first pass to cross the mighty Rohtang pass, let's hope you will not get stuck in traffic jam, and then Keylong. Once you reach Jipsa, an overnight stay will be provided.

Day 4: Jispa to Sarchu ( 90 kilometers / 56 miles )

Today gear up for an adventure, you will cross Zing Zing Bar, Suraj Tal, Baralacha La - 16040 feet and Killing Sarai. You will reach Sarchu by afternoon. Overnight stay with dinner will be in camps. The camps are A grade category with all bedding and attach (western) toilet.

Day 5: Sarchu to Leh (250 kilometers / 155 miles)

You will start you journey in morning after breakfast from Sarchu. After photo session start journey toward Leh. You will cross Ghata Loops (21 pins), Pang Moore plains, Tanglang La (the second highest pass). Reach Leh by evening. Overnight stay in Leh with dinner.

Day 6: Leh rest day

Today is rest day and you can explore the beautiful capital, Leh. Apart from local sightseeing you can visit the places like the Shanti Stupa, Leh palace, and Leh Gompa. Overnight stay will be in a hotel in Leh.

Day 7: Leh - Khardung La - Diskit - Nubra Valley (140 kilometers / 87 miles)

Today you will ride up the majestic Khardung La (18380 feet) - the highest motorable pass in the world, most fascinating of all passes, and then reach the picturesque Nubra valley. Overnight stay in a camp / hotel.

Day 8: Hunder (Nubra valley) - Diskit village - Khalsar village - Agham village - Shyok village - Durbuk - Tangtse - Spangmik (Pangong Tso) (160 kilometers / 99 miles)

This will be the most adventurous day of your Ladakh motorcycle expedition. It is for sure going to blow your mind heading to Pangong Tso lake. The thrill of riding on these roads will give you an ultimate experience. You will experience off-roading and river crossing. Be ready for complete adventure. From the narrow stretches you will reach a beautiful blue lagoon and that is Pangong lake. The mesmerizing view of Pangong lake will leave you speechless. Pangong lake is situated at an elevation of about 4350 meters, it is 134 kilometers long and extends from India to China. Spend some good time and relax your soul here. Overnight stay will be in a hotel.

Day 9: Spangmik (Pangong Tso) - Tangtse - Tsoltak - Chang La - Sakti - Karu - Leh (140 kilometers / 87 miles)

After a relaxing night at a comfortable hotel / camp, have breakfast and you will start heading back to Leh. You will cross wildlife sanctuary and the mighty Chang La pass. On the way, see the famed school that was used as an off-studio location in the hit Hindi film, "3 idiots".

Day 10: Leh to Kargil (220 kilometers / 136 miles)

The bike expedition today will move towards the town of Kargil. On the way, pay homage at the Buddhist monastery of Lamayuru, which is the highest in the region in terms of altitude. Onwards on the excursion, you will cross Fotu La mountain pass and then follow the road, descending to beautiful town of Kargil. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 11: Kargil to Srinagar (203 kilometers / 126 miles)

After a healthy breakfast, your Ladakh expedition will move ahead and you will cross the most beautiful pass in this region and that is none other then Zojila pass. You will take a break and then move ahead to Srinagar by passing the breathtaking valley of Sonamarg. Later, you will drive to Srinagar, the capital of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Places to visit here are: Shalimar Bagh and take a Shikara ride on the picturesque Dal lake. Overnight stay near Dal lake.

Day 12: Srinagar to Pathankot (330 kilometers / 205 miles)

After morning breakfast, you will start your Ladakh motorcycle ride to Pathankot driving through the Jawahar tunnel out of Srinagar. You will cross Jammu and reach Pathankot by the evening.

Day 13: Pathankot to Delhi (470 kilometers / 292 miles)

This is the last day of your road trip to Ladakh, you will start from Pathankot from the beautiful roads of Punjab and Haryana. You will reach Delhi by the evening with endless memories of adventurous road journey of Ladakh.

  • Security deposit per motorbike of 5,000 INR as per the deposit policy (this is refundable at the end of the trip if there is no damage or spare parts used)
  • Parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing
  • Any cost incurred due to extension, change of itinerary due to natural calamities, road, blocks, vehicle breakdown, union issues and factors beyond control
  • Additional accommodation / food cost incurred due to any delay
