Khun Yut is an English-speaking and experienced instructor. He was born in 1967 and lives in Chiang Mai. Khun Yut is currently married and has two kids. He rides motorcycles since his childhood and knows Northern Thailand in and out. He is a very lovely chap who is always in a good mood.
We enjoyed the Chiang Rai Loop on a beautiful sunny day. The BMW motorcycle are first class bikes and made this day special. The bikes are in perfect condition. The guides and the back up vehicle provided us with comfort and confidence that we have chosen the right company for our bike trip.
BTA is a 1st class operation. We did the 3 day Mae hong Son Loop and then a self guided tour to the other side of Thailand to see our son for Christmas. Rented a 1200GS and road 2 up just like at home.
BTA planned a wonderful trip and were very accommodating. the hotels were first class. On the self guided portion of the tour they provided a GPS with a pre load route and detailed day by day information on where to stop and what to see.
the roads in Thailand were challenging and fun to ride. The people we met along the way were friendly and the food fantastic. And BTA took care of everything for us. I cannot recommend them enough. We are already planning to go back and do one of their other tours.

I went on a customised moto tour and it was awsome!!!
in my younger years I have been motorcycling in Nothern Thailand a couple of times. I used to rent a scooter when I could not yet afford a "real" bike. I booked a short customized tour with a friend of mine. We went to Wat Chan, Samoeng Pai, Mae Hong Son and Mae Sariang. 90% on road and a small stretch before Wat Chan which was off road nothing technical .
I remember the roads were already good in the old days but nowadays many roads have been repaved and are just amazing with good grip and wide corners felt like I was on a race track on many of the corners.
The tour was perfectly organised , the hotels were nice and cosy and was probably the best at each spot.
I enjoyed riding the capable 800gs beamer. In my opinion the 800 GS is the perfect bike for this kind of terrain a forgiving suspension with Enough passing power and more than enough torque to blaze out of the thousands of corners. The guide was awsome and fun. He knew the place in and out and could give us a lot of insider information brought us to places that i would have probably never found.
I surely will come back soon and do a longer tour cause I just love northern Thailand a total moto country

Went on a 1 day tour with Bike Tour Asia during my stay in Chiang Mai. Probably the highlight of my trip. I had a great time riding through the Doi Inthanon National Park. The Bike Tour Asia guides were awesome! They provided everything for us, took care our arrangements, and were just cool guys in general. Definitely want to come back and do a longer tour. The bikes we used were BMW GS800's all in great condition, and well maintained. For sure, one of the nicest bikes I have ever rode on. If you have any inclination to try out a motorcycle tour, without hesitation, I would highly recommend you book it through this company!!
