Come and experience the pleasures of high-altitude mountain motorbiking as you are taken on an exciting and wondrous journey through the scenic beauty of Himalaya. On this adrenalin-pumping motorcycle ride, you will enjoy ride on the high mountain and passes along the Lahaul Valley and numerous quaint villages to make your way towards the breathtaking snow-capped mountain. There is a whole lot of adventure, stunning natural beauty and socio-cultural experiences awaiting you. The fresh mountain air beckons.
Throughout this tour, your accommodation will be as follow:
Meet and greet by Brahmand Tour's representative at Delhi Airport followed by transfer to your hotel.
Morning transfer to Delhi International Airport to board the flight to Gaggal which is also known as a Dharamshala airport. On arrival you will meet Brahmand Tour's representative and transfer to hotel at Palampur. Check-in into the hotel (early check-in subject to availability). After refreshment it’s time to gather at hotel lobby to do brief introduction about the upcoming epic adventurous journey.
Post briefing, it is now time to get familiarized with your machine (the Royal Enfield) as well as with Indian traffic. Head to Dharamshala (known as the land of Dalai Lamba) to visit Norbulingkha Monastery followed by lunch.
In the afternoon, ride back to Palampur town where you can do last minute shopping before entering the unoccupied land.
After breakfast, start your ride toward Manali - the famous hill station of India. Today, you will go with packed lunch then check-in at the hotel. Evening free for personal activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Post breakfast, your epic and adventurous journey begin on the Royal Enfield to Jispa climbing over Rohtang Pass (3,978 meters). This would really turn out to be a challenge as the road you will ride through are really adventurous and the weather conditions are also uncertain.
A little further, you will pass through the Lahaul Valley where all the mountains capped with snow all around. Enjoy mountain dinner of steamed momos and thukpa. Thukpa is a very famous traditional Himalayan soup which is made by mixing meat and vegetables.
Today, you will be leaving for the next destination, Tsokar. When you leave from Jispa, you will enter the Greater Himalayan landscape. While you are on this route, you will see the bigger mountains on this part of the highway. Enjoy the view and later cross the Baralachha Pass (4850 meters).
From there, head towards Sarchu which forms the border line between J&K and Himachal Pradesh. You will climb over another two high mountain passes Naki La (4877 meters) and Lachalung - the first giant above 5000 meters (5065 meters).
Lunch at Pang. And then after lunch, continue to ride to Tsokar. En route, you will ride through flatlands and get into the mountain-range-horizon. Tsokar is a place where you will witness a mix of different natural formations which are seen through the roads and sand.
The seventh day comes with a lot of challenges with more plain and get into the mountain-range-horizon. Cross the Tanglang-La Pass which is the third highest motorable mountain pass in the world at the height of 5328 meters.
After crossing this pass, you will have to ride through well-maintained roads all the way to Leh. En-route you will get to see the monasteries of Thiksey and Shey which are set on the top of a hill. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Evening free to explore the Market of Leh.
The dream come true as today you will ride to Khardung la (5602 meters), which is the highest motorable pass in the world and has been recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. After quality time at Kardungla return back to Leh. End of the day free to explore Leh Market.
Today, you will ride to explore some very unique landscapes of the Himalayan region. A scenic ride through some fine red rocky faces to visit Dah Hanu en-route visit Nimmoo: there you will witness the confluence of the Green Indus River and the brown Zanskar River and world heritage site Alchi monastery.
Visit Alchi Gompa on the banks of the Indus. The monastery has lots of small Buddha statue in different form but the main attraction is the 1000-year-old wall paintings, Unesco heritage. Post lunch proceed to Dah Hanu (A tale of last Aryan). In the evening, have free time to walk around the village.
Ride to Lamayuru (known-as Moonland). After lunch, visit Lamayuru monastery (known as Yuru Gompa), which belongs to the “Bri_gung_pa (Digungpa) branch of the Ka_gyu_pa order. After your visit, continue to ride to Leh. Before reaching, Leh en route you will stop at Magnetic Hill & Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. On arrival check-in at the hotel. The evening is free to do what you want.
Today you will have a long day to ride from Leh to Sarchu crossing over various high mountain passes and villages. En route, you will have 45 kilometers straight ride through the breathtaking valley of Zanskar. Lunch en route on the midway. At the end of the day, you will reach Sarchu.
Early morning, start your ride towards Manali crossing over Baralacha Pass which is an entry gate of Lahaul Valley. Continue your descend crossing Zingzingbar, Darcha, Jispa, and riding across various of villages to Khoksar where after a much needed tea break you will start another ascend of your last challenge, The Rohtang Pass.
Cross the pass to enter the lush green Kullu Valley ending your motorcycle safari in Manali. You will bid farewell to your companions, the Royal Enfield, carrying fond memories and promise to meet again.
In the morning, proceed to Chandigarh Railway station to catch the Shatabdi express train to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi railway station, a Brahmand Tour's representative will meet and take to you the hotel.
In the morning, after breakfast, depart for your transfer to the airport to catch the flight to your onward destination. The trip concludes here.

Leh has about ten thousand inhabitants and is famous for the Royal Palace, similar to a miniature version of the Potala of Lhasa, as well as for the splendid wooden mosque and frequent visits of the XIV Dalai Lama. Other interesting places are the Buddhist villages of Lamayuru, Atitse, Bagso, Hemis, famous for the imposing monastery of the same name, Alchi, famous for the local monastery hosting wonderful wall paintings, and Likir.
