Program

Day 1: Arrival in Bologna

Arrival is in Bologna. Break in Italy suggests a visit to Bologna but you can’t miss the museum and factory of Ducati in Borgo Panigale. Transfer to the hotel, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Barberino del Mugello - Firenze and Castelnuovo Garfagnana (240 kilometers / 149 miles)

Breakfast would be at the hotel, departure toward Florence, the road will cross the beautiful pass of Raticosa and Futa, through the suggestive Bologna’s hills landscapes. You will then follow the directions for Barberino del Mugello and Florence where nearby you will make a stop lunch.

In the afternoon the riding will take you to Pistoia and Montecatini until reaching Castelnuovo in Garfagnana. Transfer to the hotel, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3: Castelnuovo in Garfagnana and Porto Venere (157 kilometers / 98 miles)

Breakfast would be at the hotel, the ride starts following the country road for the lake of Isola Santa, the road proceeds on the mount/see way to discover the Garfagnana lakes and some historical villages driving surrounded by woods and beautiful landscapes until Carrara.

Free lunch is along the itinerary. In the afternoon, you will leave Tuscany and enter to Liguria, passing through Sarzana, La Spezia until Porto Venere, a short break to enjoy this pearl of the "Cinque Terre", transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: The Ligurian coast and the Cinque Terre park - Genoa (200 kilometers / 124 miles)

Breakfast would be at the hotel, departure toward the county road along the Cinque Terre coast and its marvelous villages to enjoy unique sceneries and many curves. Stop for lunch. In the afternoon, you will ride through Genoa passing through Rapallo and Santa Margherita Ligure. Transfer at the hotel, dinner, and overnight.

Day 5: From Genoa to Salsomaggiore, riding through the Emilia way (213 kilometers / 132 miles)

Breakfast would be at the hotel, departure to Rapallo and Piacenza along a road full of latch across two panoramic passages. The itinerary will continue in the Regional Natural Park of Aveto, along a road full of curves and immersed in thick woods and reaches the slopes and historic villages. Lunch stop. In the afternoon, departure is in the direction of Salsomaggiore Terme. Transfer at the hotel, dinner, and overnight.

Day 6: Salsomaggiore, Modena, Bologna (180 kilometers / 112 miles)

Breakfast would be at the hotel, departure following the direction for Fidenza and Pescaroli following the course of Po river. The itinerary will continue passing through Viadana, Reggiolo, and Carpi until you reach Modena, the hearth of Motor Valley. Stop for lunch and a short walking in the beautiful historical center. In the afternoon departure for Bologna, drop off the bikes, transfer to the hotel, dinner, and overnight.

This tour will take place in various locations in Italy. You will visit Bologna, Barberino del Mugello Firenze, Castelnuovo in Garfagnana, Parco Alpi Apuane, Carrara, Portovenere, Cinque Terre, Modena, and Salsomaggiore.

Food

You will be provided with half-board treatment (breakfast and dinner) during the tour and lunches along the tour around Firenze, Monterosso al mare, Gazzano Visconti, Modena.
