Program

Day 1: Gammarth - Tunis

Today will be your arrival day at the airport in Tunis and you will transfer to the hotel for dinner and an overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Gammarth - Cap Serrat

This is a generous nature, where mountainous and green landscapes are still intact. The longest stage at about 200 kilometers, with mixed landscapes and breathtaking panoramic views, the route varies between hills and the Mediterranean coast. The passage will take you through the sandy Rimmel forest, the very large sand dunes in Skiri. Eventually, you will arrive in Cap Serrat; a small fishing village on the beach. You will stay at the inn Le Pirate, with a mandatory fish-based dinner; the house specialty.

Day 3: Cap Serrat - Tabarka - Cap Serrat

This is a very technical stage. Your departure will be on the mountain "Jebel Chitane" or the devil's mountain, on a mule track created in the era of the French colonies during the colonization of Algeria and the protectorate of Tunisia. A wild and uncontaminated nature, this path borders with Algeria, and then descend to the beach that goes towards Tabarka, a 25 kilometers long beach inaccessible from the earth. You can only get there with enduro bikes. This beach is famed for its immensity and solitude and will allow you a unique feeling of being able to drive at high speed on the shore. You will be passing between rural villages, cows, donkeys, deer, wild boars, and partridges towards the Cap Serrat inn. Note: for those wishing to rest, Buggy and Bike can offer a boat trip to reach a spectacular bay (at extra cost).

Day 4: Cap Serrat - Bizerte

This stage of 150 kilometers inland passes through Sedjenane, a mythical stop by Buggy and Bike's friend, Tahaer, who will prepare an Italian coffee, in a hut surrounded by mule tracks for real endurists. You continue towards Teskreya on a track with a spectacular panoramic view of Lake Ickkeul, in a national park. A UNESCO heritage site, the area is an important stopover for countless migratory birds. From here, you approach the northern Mediterranean coast to reach the city of Bizerte, a very picturesque city that develops around the canal that connects Lake Bizerte to the Mediterranean Sea. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 5: Bizerte - Gammarth, Tunis

The shortest stage at 70 kilometers, this day will be spent inside an amusement park. You will ride through a sandy forest of 50 kilometers where if you still have some energy, there are firebreaks and paths to stay there all day. Before long, you will arrive in Gammarth. Then, you will transfer to the airport for your return flight.
