Program

Day 1 (345 kilometers / 214 miles)

09:00 Meeting point at your hotel/accommodation in Sofia.
09:30 The motorbike tour starts.
13:00 After 3.5 hours of riding, you will reach the communistic monument "Buzludzha". There are an hour and a half time to enjoy the view, learn about the history of the place, and have lunch.
15:00 After lunch we will head to Plovdiv, a city full of history and good beer. The riding time is 2 hours.
17:00 Check-in at the hotel in Plovdiv and enjoy the city. "Kapana" (the Trap) area is the highlight after the Roman theater and stadium from 2nd century AD.

Day 2 (190 kilometers / 121 miles)

10:00 After breakfast, we will check out and start our journey back to Sofia on a curvy mountain road.
12:30 You will reach the oldest ski resort in Bulgaria, Borovets and it will be time for lunch. Travel time is approximately 2 hours.
14:30 The last section of this trip will be the road from Borovets to Sofia. Around 70 kilometers / 43 miles of hard turns next to the Iskar dam.
17:30 Approximately we will be back in Sofia, Alexander Nevsky cathedral. It is time to say "Goodbye and see you next time".

The road will be mountainous and scenic with curvy roads in good condition and well marked. In some sections heavy traffic.

Daniel is a professional travel guide, certified by the Bulgarian Travel Association, with more than 10 years of experience in the travel industry. He graduated from Management of Tourism in Varna, Bulgaria. His passion for motorbikes came a long time ago and he had the chance to ride different types of bikes, but really enjoys tourer and adventure motorcycles. At the moment, he is riding a Yamaha TDM 850 "the old horse."

Adrian has been working in the sphere of tourism for four years. Part of his profession is to be a guide in Bulgaria and create tour products. Adrian is an archaeologist and he uses his knowledge to represent Bulgaria's culture and history in the most realistic way that is possible. According to Adrian, his decision to get on the bike was one of the best he has ever made. He is a certified rider by California Super Bikes. He is currently riding a BMW F800R with a huge smile on his face.
