Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Negombo

On your arrival day, you will be picked up at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo and it will take 20 minutes to arrive at your Negombo beach accommodation. On this day, you will meet the tour leader, group members, mechanics, and backup driver. After all the preparation, you will have time to enjoy the beach, explore the town, or take a rest at your accommodation.

Day 2: Negombo - Dambulla, 200 kilometers / 125 miles

You will start your tour by riding towards Dambulla. You will enjoy wide open roads with the scenic view. Today will be your countryside adventure with occasional stops for coconut water drinks. In the afternoon, you will arrive at the Dambulla cave temple.

Dambulla cave temple is one of the UNESCO sites in Sri Lanka. This site is estimated to be from the 1st century. This site also has 80 caves and more than 150 Buddha statues.

Day 3: Dambulla - Polonnaruwa, 85 kilometers / 53 miles

Your energy will be filled with the morning riding towards Lion’s Rock, Sigiriya. You will park your bike and climb for 370 meters at Lion’s paw to enjoy the view of a water garden and surrounded landscape. This 5th-century site provides ancient paintings and beautiful gardens with reservoirs. After that, you will continue riding towards Polonnaruwa which stands with religious and garden remains of the 800-year-old capital. You will arrive in the lunchtime and have time to explore the place and capture videos or images in the evening.

Day 4: Polonnaruwa - Kandy, 200 kilometers / 125 miles

You will go from the flat land to the higher ground. Each and every turn will provide an exciting view of the land that you will remember for your life. You will enter the Knuckles Mountain Range with its bends after bends and it will make you feel like going into a cool land with green views. If you like, you may stop by the beautiful waterfalls to take photos.

Day 5: Kandy to Dumbanagala, 145 kilometers / 91 miles

Today, you will run through tea plantations and smaller roads via rainforest. You will stop at Dumbanagala to see views of the Dotulugala range and waterfalls. Surrounding thick forest will give you breathtaking views all over the touring route. You will also have a chance to ride an off-road for nearly 25-kilometer distance.

Day 6: Dumbanagala to Kandy, 80 kilometers / 50 miles

You will start the day with riding back to Kandy where you can visit mini world's end. You will visit the Dothalugala falls in the afternoon and go watching a traditional devil dance in the evening.

Day 7: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya, 120 kilometers / 75 miles

You will start the day little early and ride towards little England, Nuwara Eliya. You will pass the beautiful Ramboda waterfall which is said to be 109 heights and has 2 head falls. After that, you will travel through tea plantations with its narrow winding roads that are slowly climbing up. On the way, you will stop by a tea factory to taste a newly roasted black tea. You will also watch how the tea is produced from green leaves into a black tea. You will also reach Nuwara Eliya to feel the cool atmosphere.

Day 8: Nuwara Eliya - Tissamaharama, 180 kilometers / 112 miles

It is time to visit the world’s end located in the Horton Plain National Park. You will ride again the green land filled with valleys, waterfalls, and streams. Local people would love to take a photo with you and be happy that they had been captured by a visiting foreigner.

If the day is clear, you will have a chance to enjoy amazing views of green mountains and valleys filled with streams from faraway lands. After that, you will ride towards a plain terrain land where you will feel the hot temperature as you left the mountain region.

Day 9-10: Tissamaharama - Mirissa, 55 kilometers / 35 miles

Today, you will have an optional activity to get into the 4x4 Jeep to watch wild elephants, leopards, sloths, bears, and deer. Water buffalos will always be there to welcome you but you have to wait for other wild animals. If the sky is a little dark, you will have a chance to view beautiful peacocks doing a mating dance with its long beautiful feathers.

After that, you will jump out of the Jeep and take your bike again to ride towards Mirissa Beach. This beach offers many water sports activities that you could try. From Mirissa, you will then ride for 65 kilometers to Galle. You can visit the Galle city which is popular for its Dutch fort and you will taste its tasty international cuisine and go shopping. After that, you will ride back to your hotel in Mirissa to take a rest.

Day 11: Mirissa - Bopath Falls, 200 kilometers / 125 miles

You will go from the flat land to the higher ground. Each and every turn will provide an exciting view of the land that you will remember for your life. You will enter the Knuckles Mountain Range with its bends after bends and it will make you feel like going into a cool land with green views. If you like, you may stop by the beautiful waterfalls to take photos.

Day 12: Kuruwita - Kitulgala, 70 kilometers / 44 miles

Today, you will ride through rubber plantations where there are tall trees on both sides of the roads. You will also watch how people make natural rubber by collecting latex through cut rubber trees. When you reach Kitulgala, you may go on a whitewater rafting in Kelani River which is called Kelani Ganga by the locals. It will be the best part of the tour. At the end of the day, you will take a rest in a cool place.

Day 13: Kitulgala - Negombo, 110 kilometers / 69 miles

On the last day of your adventure, you will continue riding by the rice fields which could be green all over the land on its early stage or yellow with cut paddy husks all over the place. When you arrive in Negombo, you will have time to go shopping for souvenirs and spend the rest of the day on the Negombo beach side.

Day 14: Departure from Negombo

Today will be last day of your tour in Sri Lanka. It is time to say goodbye to your team leader and your team members. After saying goodbye, you will head to Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) and catch your flight.
