You will be staying in a shared room at accommodations provided by Colombia Moto Adventures.


Day 1: Arrive in Medellín

This day is your arrival day in Medellín.

Day 2: Free day in Medellín

Today, you will get your motorcycles and have your first riders meetup. You can follow up the rest of the day with some history by exploring any of Medellín’s museums or a Pablo Escobar tour. This is the perfect time to get some relaxation in before you hit the road.

Day 3: Medellín - Planeta Rica

You will depart this day heading north, making your way to Cartagena. Day three encompasses busy riding, stopping at night to get some rest as you continue your journey.

Day 4: Planeta Rica - Cartagena

This is your first big stop on Colombia Moto Adventures's Colombia’s best motorcycle tour. And what better way to be introduced to the country then stopping in the heart of Colombia. Unwind after a day of riding with plenty of time to take in the lovely city of Cartagena.

Day 5: Free day in Cartagena

As a UNESCO world heritage site, this city is booming with food, culture, and history. Take in the colorful architecture and cobbled alleys or soak in some sun at any of Cartagena’s beautiful beaches, topping it off with a night on the town. If you want to pick up a little history, make sure not to miss the Palacio de la Inquisición or the Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas.

Day 6: Cartagena - Palomino

As you depart Cartagena, you will get to enjoy the open road with a ride along the Caribbean, making your way to the town of Palomino. This short route will have you arriving promptly at lunchtime, leaving you with the rest of the afternoon to relax and take in the view.

Day 7: Palomino - Estoraques

Enjoy some easy riding in the morning. You will then approach the mountainous region of Ocaña and head through to the tiny pueblo of Playa De Belén. This charming town is the perfect stop to take in your last views of the stunning rock formations of Estoraques.

Day 8: Estoraques - Barichara

Today’s route features a long ride, arriving in the Spanish colonial town of Barichara. Nestled in the mountains, this quaint town is saturated with the atmosphere. Take a walk along the cobblestone streets and enjoy the stunning mid-century architecture.

Day 9: Barichara - Villa de Leyva

You made it half way! Take the time to sleep in and get some rest today. In the morning, you’ll be getting some breakfast and heading out just before lunch to your next destination, Villa de Leyva. Stand frozen in time, the town of Villa de Leyva is a national monument and has had little to no development in the last 400 years.

Day 10: Villa de Leyva - Bogotá

Take your time and explore a little of Villa de Leyva in the morning. After lunch, you will hop on your bikes and ride to Colombia’s capital, Bogotá. Arriving in the evening, you will have a meetup for dinner and then head out to explore the city nightlife.

Day 11: Free day in Bogotá

Take in a day to relax and explore Colombia’s bustling capital. A city cradled by the Andes, this town has something to offer for everyone’s interest. Walk the city in awe of the 300-year old architecture, history buffs can marvel at the Museo del Oro (Museum of Gold), or simply take in a coffee at the Plaza de Bolivar.

Day 12: Bogotá - Honda

You will start your descent back home to Medellín. Take in the mountain solitude as you ride through the Andes, taking a quick stop in Armero. You will finish up the day with a ride to the colonial town of Honda. This quaint town embodies authentic local Colombia, nestled over the streaming Magdalena River.

Day 13: Honda - Armenia

Today, the ride takes you through Colombia’s coffee region. This route features superb riding through mountainous regions with a visit to the stunning Cocora Valley. Cocora Valley offers a lush ecosystem, lined with palm trees and striking highland scenery.

Day 14: Free day in Armenia

The day is yours to explore! Coffee tours, horseback riding, bird watching, the activities are endless in Armenia. Enjoy your day relaxing and taking in the sights of Armenia.

Day 15: Armenia - Medellín

This is the final stretch back to the beginning of your journey. You’ll take the scenic back roads through Colombia’s coffee region and follow up the Cauca River. You will arrive in the beautiful colonial town of Santa Fe de Antioquia to visit the Bridge of the West before your last long haul back to Medellín.

Day 16: Arrive in Medellín

This marks the final day of your epic journey across Colombia. Riders will now part ways and head back home. For those riders that couldn’t get enough of Colombia, let Colombia Moto Adventures know and they can arrange extra days to stay.

On this motorcycle, you will explore all Colombia has to offer. As you take off from Medellín, also known as the "City of Eternal Spring", you will make your way north to the famous colonial town of Cartagena. From Cartagena, you will follow the sea to the vibrant beaches of Palomino for some relaxation and authentic Colombian cuisine.

Your route then takes you heading south, riding through the rock formations of Los Estoraques, the picturesque town of Barichara, and the historical town of Villa de Leyva. After conquering the backroads, you arrive at Colombia’s famous capital, Bogotá. Once you’re done with the city, it’s back on the roads to Colombia’s coffee region. And lastly, you end the adventure back in Medellín.
