During the tour, you will stay at various hostels arranged by Colombian Riders. Each of the hostels has hamac and single bed dormitories as well as twin rooms. You may choose between those options.


Day 1: Santa Marta - Palomino (3 hours) - 20% Off-Road; 80% Paved Road

After checking all security equipment and motorbikes basics, you hop on your bike and head to the coastal road that goes through the Tayrona Park where you will already witness stunning vegetations.

Day 2: Palomino - Cabo de la Vela (5-6 hours) - 50% Off-Road; 50% Paved Road

You wake up, have breakfast and hop on your bike. You will enter the desert through the sandy back roads of the Guajira.

Have a break, fill up the tanks and have a traditional Guajiro lunch at Uribia.

Finally, you drive to your final destination, Cabo de la Vela, where you will be able to take unique sunset pictures, and admire kitesurfers all around or explore more dunes with your motorbike and guide. You sleep in comfortable Hamacs on the beach at Rancho Utta.

Day 3: Cabo de la Vela - Punta Gallinas - 100% Off-Road; 0% Paved Road

You wake up for the sunrise and have breakfast. You hop on your bike and start the to drive through the incredible desert. MadMax Type, with the help of a Wayuu local guide.

You reach Punta Gallinas. Depending on your time of arrival, you will sleep at the northest point of South America, hours away of civilization with an incredible view over the bay.

Day 4: Punta Gallinas - Manaure (5 hours) - 90% Off-Road; 10% Paved Road

You wake up for the sunrise and have breakfast. Then you head back south until Manaure and its famous salt fields, We sleep there

Day 5: Manaure - Dibulla (5 hours) - 30% Off-Road; 70% Paved Road

Day 6: Dibulla - Santa Marta - 0% Off-Road; 100% Paved Road

You will challenge your offroad skill to the beginning of the way to the Lost City. You will cross rivers, climb 1000 meters high and if you have the energy for it, you will do the whole loop (4 hours) and pass by an Arahuaco Village (Native American).

Finally, you will visit the Quebrada Valencia, one of the most beautiful waterfalls of the Magdalena. Before night, you head back to Santa Marta.

The tour will take you to amazing places in the Caribbean Region of Colombia. Starting at 9 a.m. from Colombian Riders Base in Santa Marta, you will head for Palomino, Cabo de la Vela, Punta Gallinas, Manaure, Dibulla, and then back to Santa Marta. You will arrive approximately at 5 or 6 p.m.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Simón Bolívar International Airport (SMR). Taxis are available at the airport for a cost of 10 USD until the base "Colombian Riders" on Google map. The taxi ride will be around 20 minutes.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
