Program

Day 1: Jaipur

Soon after breakfast, you shall be having an extensive briefing before you take a short ride (in an effort to know your bike better and to get familiar with its controls and riding conditions in India) to Amber town, where you will also visit the beautiful palace. The rest of the evening is free for leisure.

Day 2: Jaipur - Mandawa, 195 kilometers / 121 miles

Leaving Jaipur, you will head northwest on the National Highway 11 towards the Shekhawati region to the town of Mandawa. Referred to as the “open-air art gallery” of Rajasthan, the entire Shekhawati region is dotted with fascinating mansions (havelis) embellished with frescoes and colorfully painted walls. Later in the afternoon, you may either join a guided tour of the “havelis” or explore the town on your own.

Day 3: Mandawa - Bikaner, 250 kilometers / 155 miles

Joining the National Highway 11 again, you will head westwards towards the city of Bikaner, one of the famous cities right on the edge of the Thar Desert.

Day 4: Bikaner (Sightseeing day)

Bikaner’s landscape is dominated by the indomitable Junagarh Fort and the red sandstone Lalgarh Palace. You may join an organized half-day sightseeing tour of the town.

Day 5: Bikaner - Jodhpur, 250 kilometers - 155 miles

After breakfast, you will saddle-up again for a 250-kilometer ride to the city of Jodhpur. Today, the route turns south as you head through the Thar Desert into the Marwar region of Rajasthan.

Day 6: Jodhpur (Sightseeing day)

The day is yours to visit the places of interest like the impressive Mehrangarh Fort, the spectacular Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada, or the bazaars around the clock tower.

Day 7: Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur, 270 kilometers / 168 miles

After breakfast, it will be time to bid adieu to “the blue city” and take your journey further south towards the Aravali hills. On the way, you will get the opportunity to make a brief stop in Ranakpur, a small town located in a wooded valley on the western side of the Aravali Range, famous for the white marble Jain temple with intricate carvings. Your final destination today will be Udaipur, the city of lakes.

Day 8: Udaipur (Sightseeing day)

Udaipur, a tourists delight as it is, will most likely to have you spending the entire day visiting all it has to offer. The evening will be a great time to absorb the stunning views of the Lake Pichola from the sunset point or one of the numerous roof-top restaurants lining the “ghats” around the lake and reminiscing the past few days after you left Bharatpur as the sun sets.

Day 9: Udaipur - Chittorgarh - Bijaipur, 165 kilometers / 103 miles

Heading northeast from Udaipur, your first stop today will be the spectacular fort of Chittorgarh, one of the most romantic of Rajasthan’s fortifications. After a visit to the fort, you will ride further 40 kilometers to Castle Bijaipur, now a heritage hotel and your destination of the day.

Day 10: Bijaipur - Pushkar, 240 kilometers / 149 miles

Leaving Bijaipur, you will head north to Pushkar, a holy town famous for its lake, various ghats, and temples spread all around it.

Day 11: Pushkar - Jaipur, 150 kilometers / 93 miles

Today, it will be the time to say goodbye to the Royal Enfields and Rajasthan. After breakfast, you will be boarding a bus coach for the last leg of this journey, a city tour of Jaipur city. If you have purchased an add-on, you will be transferred to the partner hotel where your accommodation has been arranged.
