During the tour, you will be staying for two nights at Studio Hotel, one night at Arenal Manoa, one night at Le Cameleon Hotel, one night at Casa Turire Hotel, two nights at El Remanso Lodge, one night at El Parador Hotel, and one night at Moana Hotel.

Program

Day 1: Arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica

Meet at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) and private A/C transfer to your hotel in San Jose. Overnight at Studio Hotel, Standard Room (breakfast).

Day 2: San Jose - Arenal Volcano, 150 kilometers / 93 miles

Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to the office to pick up your motorcycle. From San Jose, you will depart to the Arenal Volcano area. On the way there, you can take a “detour” to the Poas Volcano National Park, where you will not only admire the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles but also learn about the different ecosystems in this beautiful national park. Once in the Arenal Volcano area, you can visit the natural and relaxing hot springs and enjoy the beautiful landscape! Overnight at Arenal Manoa, Junior Suite (breakfast).

Day 3: Arenal Volcano - Puerto Viejo, 304 kilometers / 189 miles

Today’s journey will take you through the Caribbean lowlands until you reach the South Caribbean Coast. On the way, you will pass through Sarapiqui, situated at the banks of the Puerto Viejo River and next to Puerto Viejo area, you will enjoy the natural surroundings lazing in a hammock or relaxing at the beach. The South Caribbean Coast is an exotic region recognized by its flora, fauna, and its relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Overnight at Le Cameleon Hotel, Deluxe Room (breakfast).

Day 4: Puerto Viejo - Turrialba Valley, 190 kilometers / 118 miles

Ride from Puerto Viejo to the Turrialba Valley. In Turrialba, visitors can enjoy an array of natural attractions and exciting tours: hiking up to Turrialba volcano’s crater, visiting the ancient ruins of Guayabo, an adrenaline rafting ride through the turbulent and scenic Pacuare River and much more! Overnight at Casa Turire Hotel, Standard Room (breakfast).

Day 5: Turrialba Valley - Osa Peninsula, 370 kilometers / 230 miles

This morning, you will depart south to Puerto Jimenez, located in the Osa Peninsula. Ride the Pan-American Highway crossing the “hill of death” into Perez Zeledon. From there, you will continue to El Remanso Lodge, located near Puerto Jimenez. Overnight at El Remanso Lodge, Casa Poniente GV (breakfast / dinner)

Day 6: Osa Peninsula

Day at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities and explore the surroundings. Overnight at El Remanso Lodge, Casa Poniente GV (breakfast / lunch / dinner)

Day 7: Osa Peninsula - Manuel Antonio, 206 kilometers /128 miles

Today, you will take the coastal road to Manuel Antonio. During this ride, you will have some great views of the coastline and surrounding forests. Manuel Antonio is considered to be Costa Rica’s most beautiful park, with enchanting white-sand beaches ideal for swimming and tropical rainforest forest alive with wildlife. Overnight at El Parador Hotel, Garden Plus Room (breakfast).

Day 8: Manuel Antonio - Malpais and Santa Teresa Beaches, 270 kilometers / 168 miles

After breakfast at the hotel, you will ride to the Malpais and Santa Teresa Beaches located on the Nicoya Peninsula. The beaches are spectacular, isolated, and known as top surfing spots. Many surfers come from all over the world to enjoy one of the best beaches in Costa Rica for surfing. If you are looking for just a relaxing holiday, then it is glorious to simply walk on these scenic beaches or read a good book under one of its shady trees. Overnight at Moana Hotel, Standard Room (breakfast).

Day 9: Mal Pais and Santa Teresa Beaches - San Jose 200 km / 124 miles

After enjoying the beach, ride to Puntarenas and from there to San Jose. This afternoon, you will return the bike to Costa Rica BMW Tours' office. Overnight at Studio Hotel, Standard Room (breakfast).

Day 10 - Departure

Private transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) to take flight home (breakfast).

Please book your flight to arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Costa Rica BMW Tours will pick you up from the airport.

Upon arrival, a representative of Costa Rica BMW Tours will meet you outside the baggage claim area and will provide you with a transfer to your hotel. On your departure date, Costa Rica BMW Tours will pick you up at your hotel three hours before your scheduled departure time and will provide a transfer to the airport.
