This tour is a mesmerizing historical journey. Whilst on this 12-day tour you will stay at the beautiful Caday Rouge and various other quality hotels in France. You will start and end your memorable tour at Caday Rouge and will ride through the fantastic North and South West of France including the regions of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Limousin, Centre - Val de Loire, Pays de la Loire, and the Midi Pyrénées. You will see truly spectacular and breath-taking scenery, monumental, and historic sights that will not fail to impress you as you travel through this fantastic country. This experience is what motorcycling and touring is all about. Pick your place within the group and come and enjoy this unforgettable tour.
Your accommodation at Caday Rouge is a beautiful stone manor house with a 19th-century Quercy stone cottage and barn dating back to 1862. These beautiful buildings are set within two acres of well-kept tranquil gardens nestling peacefully in the serene countryside on the banks of the river Lot.
There are various terraces around the house, cottage, and pool for outside dining and socializing during the summer season.
The saltwater swimming pool is 14 meters long and 6.8 meters wide and one meter leading to 2.5 meters deep with a one-meter high ledge all the way around. The pool is heated to a minimum temperature of 25 degrees centigrade between June and September. The pools large terraces are equipped with parasols, sun loungers, and seating for your comfort, enjoyment, and socializing. These are surrounded by beautiful flowers, herbs, palm trees, and hedges.

Arrive and check in at Caday Rouge, settle in, relax, and socialize by the pool and meet your new companions before your welcome meal.
This is the start of your touring adventure and today you will head off towards Figeac through the Célé Valley visiting Saint-Cirq-Lapopie and Cahors
After breakfast, continue your journey with a visit to the remarkable and historic Rocamadour. After lunch, head south to Château de Beynac before returning to Caday Rouge.
Today, you will travel into the Dordogne where you'll visit the town of Sarlat first. Then have lunch in the beautiful bastide and fortified medieval town of Domme before returning to Caday Rouge via Chateau de Biron.
Today, prepare your self to visit Tournon d’Agenais, Penne d’Agenais, and then onto Château Le Stelsia. In the afternoon, you will visit Château de Gavaudun before returning to Caday Rouge.
You'll have an early start as you prepare the motorcycles and head to Brive-la-Gaillarde and Salon-la-Tour to visit a Resistance museum. After lunch, continue North to the natural park of Millevaches in Limousin for your first overnight stay there.
Time to explore this beautiful park before heading off to Oradour-sur-Glane, a martyr village fixed in history, before heading off towards Limoges for your second nights’ stay.
Today you will head towards Saumur and visit the famous tank museum ‘Musee des Blindés’. Your overnight stay will be in the beautiful Adagio hotel on the banks of the Loire River.
Today you will head off to the Atlantic Coast to La Rochelle visiting former German barracks and bunkers. You will be staying here for two nights.
Today you will be exploring the Atlantic Coastline La Rochelle has to offer to visit ‘Le Bunker de la Rochelle’ and the Islands of Île de Ré or Île d’Oléron. Great days riding before returning to your hotel.
Head back to Caday Rouge via Bergerac and the Château de Monbazillac for the history of wine-making in Bergerac.

If you hire a motorcycle from CRMT: It may only be used during the tour days and whilst with the group. The motorcycles are not for private use.
If you hire a motorcycle from CRMT: A 600 EUR excess damage deposit is required before any riding takes place. You must provide a copy of your passport, a valid driving license and an international driving permit with the correct endorsements. All original documents must be provided on arrival. If you hire a motorcycle from CRMT the mileage is included within the hire price.
If you are using your own motorcycle and a breakdown occurs, CRMT can return your bike to Caday Rouge. CRMT may also be able to assist in repatriating your motorcycle to some regions of Europe. A pre-determined date and cost can be confirmed subject to CRMT’s free time and when their tour season allows them.
If you ride a motorcycle in France, you are required to wear a safety helmet with reflective decals and you must wear protective gloves. If you hire a CRMT motorcycle, it is obligatory to fulfill these requirements and laws.
This escorted tour is suitable for capable riders who are able to ride the distances stated in the itinerary at a comfortable pace. Please note, you will ride an average of 250 kilometers per day on curvy and challenging roads, totaling approximately 2,200 kilometers for the holiday duration. The tour riding days are relaxed, good fun and very sociable.

Caday Rouge is situated on the river Lot in the Lot-et-Garonne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of South West France between the hamlets of Saint-Vite and Saint-Georges. These villages are on the main national cycle route approximately half-way along the famous Lot Valley and set amongst fruit farms in true rural France with tranquillity to dream for.
Caday Rouge is a five-minute drive to the village of Monsempron-Libos and the town of Fumel, home to the historic Château de Fumel which was built to help defend the Lot Valley during the Hundred Years' War. Although not much remains of the original building, the terraced château gardens have been carefully restored and offers fine views across the Lot Valley.
Caday Rouge is also closely surrounded by villages, towns, and bastides such as Agen, Marmande, Villeneuve-sur-Lot, Duras, Nérac, and Monpazier.
The South-West has an abundance of fantastic roads: twisting and winding and turning into stunning views and amazing scenery and countryside. Even to us having been here for many years, the beauty, the views, and the wildlife never cease to make us catch our breath in admiration and wonder.
Historical towns and villages in this region such as Cahors, Sarlat, Domme, Rocamadour, and Monflanquin to name a few are fantastic to visit and stop for coffee or lunch. Châteaux de Bonaguil, de Biron, de Gavaudun, and de Beynac to name just a few are also within easy riding distance and have not only some great history and architecture about them but also some popular café / restaurant's which serve as great pit-stops during a tour.
Caday Rouge includes daily breakfast as well as a complimentary arrival meal and also offers picnic lunches and four-course evening meals using local produce. Wines, beers, and soft drinks are available on request.

Please book your flight to arrive at Bergerac Dordogne Périgord Airport (EGC). Transfer from this airport is available upon request. The cost is approximately 100 EUR one way trip with a maximum of four people.
You can also book your flight to arrive at Toulouse - Blagnac Airport (TLS) or Bordeaux - Mérignac Airport (BOD). From these airports, you can take TGV train which links to Agen and a connecting train to Monsempron-Libros, Fumel. Travel by train is a great experience and very reliable.
