During this tour, you will be staying in basic rooms and guest lodges. Your accommodations will be in San Pedro, Pilicopata, and Paucartambo.
You will ride heading towards Manu National Park across the Andes through the Sacred Valley. First to Pisac, Collquepata, and Paucartambo, a colorful and beautiful colonial town located in the “Mapacho” river basin. You will continue your trip to San Pedro and the “cloud forest” where you will spend the night there.
Very early in the morning, you will depart and go on the road to watch the beautiful “Gallito de las rocas” (Rupícola Peruviana), the national bird of Peru. Then you will continue your tour and visit the villages of Chontachaca, Patria, and Pillcopata. In the afternoon, you have the chance to take an optional boat tour sailing towards Atalaya. Your overnight will be at an accommodation in Pillcopata.
Early in the morning, you will have the chance to visit the community of “Macaria”. Then you will take your vehicles and return to Paucartambo by the same road. You will have an overnight stay at an accommodation in Paucartambo.
Very early in the morning, you will take your vehicles and hit the road to Cusco. You will take a different road this time and you will visit the archaeological complex of Ninamarca (Chullpas) and the towns of San Salvador and Huancarani in the Sacred Valley. Finally, you will arrive in Cusco.
You have the opportunity to do an optional boat tour sailing towards Atalaya.
