Day 1: Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, the friendly representative will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign displaying your name. He will then drive you to your hotel. At the hotel, you will receive a detailed pre-departure briefing. Depending on your time of arrival, you are free to relax or explore the city.

Day 2: Kathmandu and Bhaktapur

After a safety briefing, you will collect your Royal Enfield motorcycles and hit the road for your first ride in Kathmandu and the Kathmandu Valley.

In the morning, you will visit Pashupatinath Temple, a holy pilgrimage site for Hindus. You will also meet many Hindu Holy Men (also known as Sadhus). Then, you will visit Boudhanath Stupa. Walk clockwise around the stupa, enjoy the mystical atmosphere, encounter the Buddhist monks, and take lots of pictures under the colorful prayer flags.

In the afternoon, you will ride to Bhaktapur. The ancient Newari town is renowned for its fine religious architecture and its traditional handicrafts. Among other places, you will visit the Brass and Bronze Museum (metal museum), the Woodcarving Museum, the 55 Window Palace, the Golden Gate, and the Five Storeys Temple (Nyatapola Temple).

Day 3: Kathmandu - Pokhara via Bandipur

After breakfast, you will ride along the Trishuli river to the picturesque Bandipur, a hilltop town located in the Tanahun district. You will enjoy your lunch in the old Newari town. Then, you will continue your trip to Pokhara, one of the most beautiful cities in Nepal. You will check in to your hotel, where you will spend some time refreshing yourselves.

You will visit Tal Barahi Temple, a Hindu temple located on a small island in the middle of Phewa Lake. Then, you will ride to the beautiful and peaceful Begnas Lake.

Day 4: Pokhara - Kalopani (2530 meters)

Today, you will ride to Beni. From there, you will start your off-road trip and ride up to Kalopani. Kalopani is well-known for its wonderful views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna I.

Day 5: Kalopani - Kagbeni (2804 meters) via Muktinath (3710 meters)

Today, you will ride to Muktinath. Temples and religious shrines are the major attractions of this holy place. Muktinath is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists. In Muktinath, if you have the courage to do so, you can follow Hindu devotees and take a holy bath under the 108 chilled fountains (Muktidhara).

Then, you will ride to Kagbeni, the main gate to the Last Forbidden Kingdom. In Kagbeni, you will witness the great views of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri and Tukuche peaks, and the Kali Gandaki (the deepest canyon in the world).

Day 6: Kagbeni - Ghami (3520 meters) via Chele and Samar

Today, you will enter the “Kingdom”. You will wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast, and ride to Chele through Chhusang, following the Kali Gandaki river. Then, you will descend to the village of Samar, located inside a grove of poplar trees. You will continue your ride to the beautiful Ghami village and enjoy the views of the spectacular red cliffs along the way.

Day 7: Ghami - Lo Manthang (3840 meters)

Today, you will ride to Tsarang. The village is located on the edge of a beautiful canyon. Then, you will travel to Lo Manthang, the capital of Upper Mustang. You will reach the ancient walls of the fortified town where you will have plenty of time to marvel. In the afternoon, you will visit the walled capital of Lo Manthang and the King’s Palace.

Day 8: Lo Manthang

Today, you will visit Chhosar and the mysterious "Sky Caves". The sky caves in Mustang remain one of the world's greatest archaeological mysteries.

Day 9: Lo Manthang - Kora La (4660 meters)

Today, you will ride up to Kora La (4,660 meters), at the Tibetan border, where you will enjoy the stunning views of the Himalayas. Then, you will ride back to Lo Manthang.

Day 10: Kora La - Geling (3570 meters) via Dhakmar and the Ghar Gumba

You will ride to Geling via the isolated village of Dhakmar, an unspoiled place of great natural beauty with superb red sandstone cliffs. On the way, you will also visit the Ghar Gumba.

Day 11: Geling - Marpha (2680 meters) via Chhusang

After a filling breakfast, you will ride to Chhusang. On the way, you will visit the Ranchung Chungsi Cave. Then, you will hit the road to Marpha, the apple capital of Nepal.

Day 12: Marpha - Tatopani (1190 meters)

You will leave the beautiful Marpha and ride to Tatopani. In the afternoon, you will enjoy Tatopani's natural hot springs. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit!

Day 13: Tatopani - Pokhara

After breakfast, you will ride back to Pokhara. There will be free time in the afternoon.

Day 14: Pokhara (rest day)

You will have the whole day at your leisure to explore Pokhara or simply relax. You can also choose to book a tandem paragliding flight, a one-day canyoning adventure, a hot air balloon flight, or a one-day rafting trip near Pokhara.

Day 15: Pokhara - Kathmandu

After breakfast, you will ride back to Kathmandu. There will be free time in the afternoon. In the evening, in Kathmandu, you will have your farewell dinner at a local restaurant, where you will also enjoy a Nepali cultural dance show.

Day 16: Kathmandu

After a fun-filled trip, your journey ends. Dus Travel Nepal hopes you thoroughly enjoyed your trip. They will take you to the Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). If you have time and would like to extend your stay in Nepal, they would be happy to offer their recommendations.

This tour will take you through Kathmandu, Pokhara, Kalopani, Muktinath, Kagbeni, Ghami, Lo Manthang, Kora La, Geling, Marpha, Tatopani, through Pokhara again, and finally ends back in Kathmandu.


The ancient Kingdom of Mustang has been forbidden to foreigners until 1992. The region is still restricted and foreign visitors need to obtain a special permit to enter the magical land of Upper Mustang. However, the reward is priceless: riding in the Last Forbidden Kingdom is a once-in-a-lifetime experience unlike any other.


Pashupatinath is one of the four most important religious sites in Asia for devotees of Lord Shiva. Devotees are regularly taking ritual baths in the holy Bagmati river. You will see a wide range of very interesting cultural activities.

Boudhanath Stupa

Boudhanath is one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and a very important pilgrimage site for Buddhists.
