During this tour, you will be accommodated in a shared room at a boarding house, very close to the city. There are several options you can choose from such as twin rooms and a large apartment. There is also a coffee bar next to the house. Facilities include laundry, TV and internet, motorcycle and gear washing, private parking for cars, trailers, and motorcycles with 24-hour monitoring.
On the first day, you will be picked up by your tour guide at Sarajevo International Airport (SJJ) or Split Airport (SPU). Transfer time is about two hours. All the participants who arrive by car or motorcycle will have to come down directly to Bugojno, where you will be based for the next few days.
In the morning, there will be a brief introduction of the rental bikes. You will spend most of your riding time on forest roads to the south and explore the area around Bugojno. If there is time left, there is a trip to a small Bosnian village.
Today, you will leave the forest and explore meadow regions with a fantastic mountain panorama. In between, there will be a stop in a secluded cove where you can eat a snack. After 110 kilometers, you will go back to Bugojno and spend a cozy evening around the campfire.
This is the queen stage of any common Bosnia and Herzegovina holiday. You will leave inland and head to the old shepherd village Prokoško Lake which has many gravel roads. You will go up to 1650 meters of altitude with your motorcycles and pass dreamy mountain villages, where you will surely want to take a refreshing mountain tea.
On this day, there can be an optional visit to the capital Sarajevo, the Bosnian pyramids in Visoko, Mostar, or the Adriatic coast within Croatia. All places are approximately two hours away by car from Bugojno. Costs are borne by the participants.
Today's stage will take you to the Rama Lake. You will pass lonely gravel roads, romantic villages, and the beautiful terrace city Rama. After a stint in a charming bay, you can also take in Grandma Konoba Rama delights.
Along the plain around Bugojno, you will drive through the quaint Bosnian town called Prusac, which was occupied about 500 years ago by the Ottomans. There, you will enjoy a Bosnian coffee together and then drive a challenging and tortuous road back on the ridge between Prusac and Bugojno.
Today, it will be time again to pack your things and return home. With a whole bunch of fond memories and eventful days, you will be transferred to the airport. Hopefully, you will remember this tour for long.
