"We booked out trip to Nepal with Imagine India in the UK, there operator in Nepal was Explore Himalaya. We had 10 days in Nepal and visited Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan. Everything went so smoothly. We were met by Savin at the airport and he ensured over the coming days that we knew all that we needed to know regarding pick up times and was on hand if we had any queries. All guides and drivers were fantastic and pick ups were always prompt. We would recommended using this company and we felt they offered an excellent service."

"We had an excellent experience with Explore Himalaya. Having only a limited stay in Nepal, we were concerned about getting the most out of our six days in country. A Nepali friend of mine suggested we work with Anuj at EH, and we were not disappointed. Anuj and his team put together a great package for us that included some time in Kathmandu and Pokhara, as well as a four day trek around the Annapurna Range. Food and accommodation at all our locations suited us just fine. We had no complaints in the cities or on the trail."

    ""

"Our guide in Kathmandu took us to several beautiful and crazy Buddhist temples, but the highlight for me was visiting Bulgmati, a village of artisans who make wood and textile works. My guide found one such artisan, Bal Ram, who was willing to give me a quick woodcarving lesson! and directed me to where I could buy some locally made chisels and tools. As a woodworker and tool enthusiast, this was a real deal experience that made the trip even more amazing for me!"

    ""

"In Pokhara we were delighted with a local street festival happening just outside our hotel. Another highlight here was riding a pretty shady looking ferris wheel that went faster and had fewer safety restraints than any ride I've been on. Truly a fun and exhilarating fair ride. We also found some beautiful handmade textiles from the Women's Skills Development Project. They help Nepali women develop business skills and provide educational opportunities, health screenings, and so much more. They make beautiful products and support disenfranchised women and fair trade. An amazing company!"

"Finally, our trek around Annapurna was challenging, inspiring, and rewarding. Our guides, Sanu and Subash, were long time friends who each had welcoming and energetic attitudes, a fun sense of humor, and led us thru the trails with confidence and ease. They were a pleasure to get to know, and we learned so much about them, the region, and local Nepali customs. We had many laughs--even when my legs didn't want to work after climbing literally thousands of stairs in a few hours (my legs pulled thru after a short rest. So many stairs; so worth it!). Everywhere we stopped and all along the way, we found first rate views of natural wonder: waterfalls, mountains, wild life, human life, domesticated life, all manner of life and splendor. We found new inspiration around every corner and saw some of the most calm and awesome sunrises I've had the privilege to witness. I yearn for those sunrises in my daily life."

    ""

"If you're considering working with EH, do it. Ask for Anuj. Ask for Sanu and Subash. If you can't get them, go anyway. It's beautiful, they know the ins and outs, they'll get you where you wanna go and tell you about places you wouldn't know about. Get out there!"

They took care of us really well. We'll stay longer next time, and if we plan the next tour to Bhutan we will contact you again."
