Another strategically located site that you will also be visiting today is the Vịnh Mốc tunnels on the border of South Vietnam and North Vietnam. It was built to shelter the villagers during the American war bombing. The Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone has more sites of your profound interest such as the complex of tunnels. As you keep on riding along the coast, you will visit the Quang Tri citadel, a proud survivor of the 1972 bombing. After 81 full days enduring fierce bomb-attacks, this place still stands majestic. At the end of the day, you will stay overnight in Hue.
