During this 14-day of Harley Davidson tour, you will leave Seattle, Washington, ride north to British Columbia, and go east through the Canadian Rockies. What are you waiting for? Great American Touring will provide you with 15 nights of accommodation. On day 5, you will spend a night at a unique accommodation at a mountain lodge. Meanwhile, your 6th night will be spent at a waterfront accommodation. Most of the selected inns, B&B's, and hotels have a no-smoking policy in guest rooms and other areas. You can ask for a smoking room, but most likely you'll have to step outside.

On this 14 days of motorcycle tour, you will ride from Seattle to Washington, British Columbia, and the Canadian Rockies. You will enjoy wonderful winding roads through the Monashee and the Kootenay ranges where some of the most beautiful unspoiled forests, lakes, and glaciers anywhere will awe and inspire you. The route will then track the old Canadian Pacific railroad.

Afterward, you will take in British Columbia's wine region, the Okanagan valley. Vineyards and resort towns line Okanagan Lake with lively cafes, fun casual dining, and robust nightlife. Surrounded by towering trees and steep hillsides, Kootenay Lake has North America’s longest free ferry and seductive switchback lakeside roads. Legendary Canadian hospitality and friendliness are the norms in the beautiful resorts of Banff and Lake Louise. A day ride on the Icefields Parkway will be part of your stay in Banff.

You will have to prepare yourself to experience the Calgary Stampede which is an annual rodeo, exhibition, and festival all in one. Your journey will continue to Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park. After crossing back into the US, you will find yourselves on Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park. Your route back to Seattle will take you west through the Idaho panhandle taking in Coeur D'Alene’s beautiful blue lake. After a magnificent crossing of the Columbia River, you will ride again through the Wenatchee National Forest and Stevens Pass before your descent back to Seattle.

  • Day 1: Seattle arrival, bikes pick up, and dinner.
  • Day 2 (254 miles): Seattle, Washington lakes, Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Skagit River, Winthrop, and a quaint old west town.
  • Day 3 (184 miles): Duffey Lake Highway, first nation reserves, and Thompson River.
  • Day 4 (175 miles): Columbia River ferry crossings, Slocan River, and Kootenay Lake.
  • Day 5 (176 miles): Balfour ferry and Crowsnest Highway.
  • Day 6 (202 miles): Okanagan Valley and Lake, and activities at a waterfront accommodation.
  • Day 7 (220 miles): Okanagan Lake west side highway, Salmon Arm, Shuswap Lake, and Meadows in the Sky Parkway.
  • Day 8 (193 miles): Glacier, Yoho, and Kootenay National Park, Takakkaw Falls, and Rogers Pass.
  • Day 9 (243 miles): Optional ride to Lake Louise and Icefields Parkway (ride can be much less than indicated distance).
  • Day 10 (80 miles): Calgary Stampede.
  • Day 11 (0 miles): Calgary Stampede.
  • Day 12 (290 miles): Kananaskis Country and Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.
  • Day 13 (119 miles): Glacier National Park and Going-to-the-Sun Road.
  • Day 14 (250 miles): Kalispell in Montana, Flathead Lake, Thompson Falls, and Spragpole Museum.
  • Day 15 (284 miles): Easy riding, Columbia River crossing, and scenic Highway 90 for most of the way.
  • Day 16: Departure

On day 10 and 11, you will have an amazing trip to an annual rodeo, exhibition, and festival all in one called the Calgary Stampede.

Your journey will cover the area of North America from Seattle to Washington, British Columbia, the Canadian Rockies, and Montana. In summary, you will have an amazing journey through several lakes, mountain ranges, national parks, rivers, highways, waterfalls, and valley.

During this tour, Great American Touring will serve you with 12 breakfasts and 2 dinners. The food will vary from a generous continental to a cooked-to-order feast. Typically, the foods are local favorites and specialties which are always prepared fresh and plentiful. Great American Touring also has a "personal chef" who is eager to exercise his or her culinary creativity.

Sometimes, you will ride for an hour or so if there's a destination breakfast in the area. However, lunch will be at your own cost. You will have lunch at a place which has the right combination of atmosphere, good food, and the prompt service needed to help you keep moving. When it comes to dinner, you can have dinner as a group and have opportunities to have dinner at a place you like.
