In Morocco, you will take care of the entry formalities and then travel in search of the Atlantic coast to admire the beautiful town of Asilah. This old fortified Spanish population squeezes its white houses behind the walls by the sea. A good place to give the palate with Atlantic fish.

Listed as Intangible Heritage of Humanity, this area hosts a motley world of vendors of all kinds, dancers, storytellers, musicians, acrobats, and snake charmers. Catch and leave your mind full of magnificent memories.

Day 5, March 10: Marrakech - Ouarzazate (244 kilometers / 152 miles, 3.5 hours)

After breakfast, you cross the Atlas Mountains and go in search of the desert. This route is full of emotions. To start the port of Tizi Tichka, the highest in Morocco. Curves and more curves for a prodigious place. You cannot miss the photo on top with the whole group.

The descent is even more interesting going through Ait Ben Haddou, a traditional Berber village full of khasbas and listed as World Heritage. Here, many films like the famous Gladiator were filmed.

You will be in sight of the city and after a few kilometers, you cross Ouarzazate, the red city to go to rest in another fantastic hotel. You are in the desert and the vision of the lake next to the hotel comforts. Dinner and accommodation.

You will also visit Todra Gorges with its reddish vertical walls. At the end of the afternoon, you will arrive with the best light to Merzouga with its large orange sand dunes. You have to arrive with daylight, to leave the bikes and change the mount. In dromedaries, you go into the desert to go to sleep in some jaimas (large traditional tents of the Bedouins) in the middle of the dunes.

The sky will offer you its dome of stars as can only be seen in the Sahara Desert. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 7, March 12: Merzouga (day off)

Day 8, March 13: Merzouga - Fez (474 kilometers / 295 miles, 6 hours)

After breakfast, you leave and continue north through the Tafilalet oasis with its thousands of palm trees going up the Ziz valley. The typical villages follow each other on the route and you have to look at the different clothes of women according to the family to which they belong.

Little by little, you left the desert behind and rolled down the Ziz gorges and the Legionnaire tunnel that marks one of the desert doors. Then you go up the Atlas mountain range to pass through Azrou and Ifrane, the ski capitals in Morocco.

You reach Fez with enough time to rest a little at the hotel overlooking the medina and then go for a walk inside. This medina is the largest in the Muslim world, a labyrinth of narrow and twisted alleys where artisans and merchants will reach the tanners' neighborhood. Dinner at traditional Berber house. Enjoy a stay at a four-star luxury hotel.
