This Manali-Leh motorbike tour offers you unlimited fun and challenge on bikes crossing World’s top two highest mountain passes. The bike safari involves crossing over high mountain passes providing spectacular views of snow-capped peaks, rugged terrain, and traveling through one of the most spectacular and picturesque landscapes in the world. Every year sees more and more bikers attempting this high altitude motor bike ride which must rate as one of the most spectacular in the world. The tour starts from Delhi and ends at Delhi with a drive across high mountain passes, lakes, and monasteries. Come prepared for every possible weather imaginable from scorching sunshine to freezing blizzards, even in mid-summer.

During the tour, you will stay in the following places:

Day 1: Delhi - Manali

Assemble at Volvo boarding point. Evening Volvo bus journey from Delhi to Manali. It will be an overnight journey.

Day 2: Arrive in Manali

Arrive in Manali Bus station and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, join the bike session where you will be briefed by your road captain about road safety, high altitude concern, and at last bike handover to you. You will be free to test your bike and have a short ride to be friendly with your friend bike which is going to be with you for the next 10 days.

Day 3: Manali - Rohtang Pass - Jispa (138 kilometers / 86 miles, 5 hours)

You wake up early in the morning to ride on one of the world's highest road, the Manali-Leh highway. As soon as you leave Manali, the climb for the 13,051 feet high Rohtang Pass starts. After Rohtang, the road descends into the Chandra Valley, passing through Khoksar and on to Tandi and Jispa. Your night stay is at a tent in Jispa.

Day 4: Jispa - Baralacha Pass - Sarchu (85 kilometers / 53 miles, 3 hours)

Today, you ride from the lush green landscape to the stark moonscape which Ladakh is famous for. A very scenic ride passing through small lakes, waterfalls, and streams. You also cross your second high altitude pass, Baralach La, at 16,500 feet. Your night stay today is in tents with attached toilets at Sarchu.

Day 5: Sarchu - Lachunga La - Tanglang La Pass - Leh (250 kilometers / 155 miles, 7 hours)

Undoubtedly the best stretch on the Manali-Leh highway, this section of the Manali-Leh highway will feel as if you're on a roller coaster ride climbing up and down from one Himalayan pass to another. You ride up and down three high altitude passes, Lachlung La (16,616 feet), Nakee La (15,547 feet), and Taglang la (17,480 feet), the second-highest motorable pass in the world. You finish the days ride in the ancient city of Leh.

Day 6: Leh - Khardung La pass - Nubra Valley (160 kilometers / 99 miles, 6 hours)

Today after breakfast get ready for one of the most exciting journey of your life. You will be crossing the world highest motorable pass Khardungla at 18,480 feet. Take this chance for your photography hobby and make great memories, and then descend to Nubra Valley. Nubra Valley is considered as the coldest desert. On arrival, check-in at your tent with an attached toilet.

Day 7: Nubra - Shyok - Pangong Lake (140 kilometers / 87 miles, 5 hours)

Enjoy the next morning ride to Pangong Lake, riding along Shyok River and valley until Durbuk from where you ride further to Tangste and then to Pangong Lake. Enjoy the beauty of Pangong Lake. Overnight in camp.

Day 8: Pangong - Chang La - Leh (160 kilometers / 99 miles, 6 hours)

Today, you ride back to Leh town, en route crossing third-highest motorable pass Chang La at 17,586 feet. After the descent from Chang La, you enter the Indus Valley and ride to your hotel in Leh town. The evening is free to explore Leh town on your own. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9: Leh - Tanglang La - Sarchu (250 kilometers / 155 miles, 7 hours)

Enjoy bike ride experiences today through Leh - Tanglang La - Sarchu following the same route. Overnight stay at the same tent in Sarchu.

Day 10: Sarchu - Manali (233 kilometers / 145 miles, 7 hours)

Enjoy bike ride experiences today from Sarchu to Manali. It will be a long ride and you will start this day quite early. Reaching Manali, bike handover, and check-in at a hotel. Evening certificate distribution for successfully completing this journey. Overnight stay at Manali hotel.

Day 11: Manali - Delhi (510 kilometers / 317 miles, overnight)

After breakfast, the day is free to relax. Evening transfer to Manali Bus Station to board on Volvo bus for Delhi. Overnight on board.

Day 12: Delhi

Arrive in Delhi at around 8 or 9 a.m. depending on the traffic condition. End of services.

On this tour, you will ride through seven Himalayan passes, three of them are the highest in the world. You will also have the chance to ride to three magical lakes.

Starting from Delhi, the route will look like this: Delhi - Manali - Leh - Khardungla Pass - Nubra Valley - Pangong Lake - Sarchu - Manali - Delhi.


Half board meals (breakfast and dinner) are provided in the accommodations.

Please book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). Then, you must assemble at Volvo boarding point to board the bus to Manali with other tour participants. Volvo boarding point where riders have to report is Pillar no 7, RK Ashram Metro Station, New Delhi. For more information, please send an inquiry.
