Accommodation will be on twin sharing basis at Himachal Pradesh tourism hotels with best available or decent hotels in the remote locations. Furthermore, accommodation in the remote region are basic and IndiMotard Adventures will strive to provide the best hotel possible. Accommodations will be at:

Day 1, August 26: Chandigarh arrival

Riding orientation will be at 19:00.

Day 2, August 27: From Chandigarh to Narkanda

Today will be your riding time.

Day 3, August 28: From Narkanda to Kalpa

The mighty Sutlej River will greet you here. You will ride into the apple orchards or Sangla Valley. The village of Kalpa and Kinnaur Kailash will keep watching over you during your night halt.

Day 4, August 29: From Kalpa to Kaza

The expansive of Spiti River will greet you as you ride the dust trails into Kaza.

Day 5, August 30: Kaza

Enjoy local rides, the Asia's highest road connected village, 14th-century monasteries such as Key Monastery, Komic, Dhankar monastery, and Kibber village.

Day 6, August 31: From Kaza to Keylong / Tandi

The ride will be over Kunzum Pass at 4,551 meters and through the river bank, you will have a break at basic bamboo cottage tents. However, the perched on a cliff will greet you.

Day 7, September 1: From Tandi to Sarchu

Ride on Bara-lacha Pass at 16,300 feet and you will drop down to your night stay in tents at 14,500 feet.

Day 8, September 2: From Sarchu to Leh

Ride on Taglang La at 17,000 feet with “more” plains and 4 other passes that will leave you wondering if this is some cruel ride.

Day 9, September 3: Leh

You will welcome the resting day with acclimatization, local sights, and market.

Day 10, September 4: From Leh to Pangong Tso

Ride to the world’s highest saltwater lake (14,500 feet) over the 2nd highest pass at 17,000 feet.

Day 11, September 5: From Pangong Tso to Leh

You will go back to your base camp.

Day 12, September 6: From Leh to Khardung La top and Nubra Valley

Ride to the world’s highest motorable road (18,380 feet) and to the stunning Nubra Valley.

Day 13, September 7: Nubra Valley

Enjoy high altitude camels, hot springs, and the ride towards the border.

Day 14, September 8: Nubra Valley

You will relax in the warmth of Nubra Valley.

Day 15, September 9: Nubra Valley to Leh

Flight out of Leh (early morning flights).

The route that is chosen for you is a beautiful mix of the high altitude valleys and lakes in the Himalayas. The tour will start in Chandigarh and wind your way to Shimla, the winter capital of India. From there, you will enter the beautiful Kinnaur District and Sangla Valley, set amidst apple orchards and misty mountaintops.

The journey into the remote yet beautiful Spiti Valley will leave its mark on all of you as you traverse the dust trails along the Spiti River into the remote Kaza. Your stay in the Spiti Valley will offer you a chance to explore the Himalayas and century-old monasteries, spot some rare wildlife (if you are lucky), and enjoy the warmth of Kaza, a village that is accessible only 4 months in a year.

From Kaza, you will make your way into Leh over 5 of the world's highest passes. From Leh, you will continue to the top of the world’s highest motorable road of Khardung La top at 18,380 feet. Your overnight stay at Pangong Tso lake at 14,500 feet will make for some great photo and an experience to remember.


You will be served all meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lunch will be at decent restaurants en route or packed lunch wherever decent restaurant are unavailable.

  • Motorcycle riding gear
  • Personal accident insurance (high-risk insurance is mandatory)

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price.
  • The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 30 days before the arrival date.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
