Refreshing Motorbike Tour Vietnam

This motorcycle tour loop offers you an experience to discover the culture of a Central Highland of Vietnam and the famously beautiful city, Hue, by riding through countryside roads and into remote mountain communities, taking a new section of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, and traveling through the A Shau Valley. Understand the Hue culture by a useful city tour before riding out off Hue via Hai Van Pass and the famous China Beach on the way back to Hoi An.

On the first night, you will stay overnight at a homestay in a hill tribe's village in Prao. The rest of the nights will be spent at an accommodation in Hue provided by DNQ Travel.


Day 1: Hoi An to Prao

Experience the back end of the Hai Van Pass, riding through countryside roads and into remote mountain communities before arriving in Prao. Explore this off the beaten track of the hill tribe community. The friendly locals and beautiful scenery are plentiful. You will stay overnight at a homestay in a hill tribe's village.

Day 2: Prao to Hue

Today will start with an early morning local breakfast before you take a new section of the Ho Chi Minh Trail and then cut through an unspoiled rainforest along the Lao border and over spectacular mountain passes. Enjoy a picnic lunch at an enticing crystal clear waterfall where you can cool off before continuing on your journey. Afterward, you will travel through the A Shau Valley, a famous battleground during the American war, before descending to Hue in time for sunset over the Perfume River.

Day 3: Hue

Today, you will do a comprehensive motorbike tour in Hue. The tour will include a visit to a citadel and royal tombs while sneaking through the back streets of Hue. A delicious vegetarian lunch prepared by Buddhist nuns will be served at a local pagoda. After lunch, you'll experience the rural surrounds of Hue, stopping to see traditional handicrafts being made as well as visiting some US war sites.

Day 4: Hue to Hoi An

Riding out off Hue and following a unique coastal route, You will stop for a special seafood lunch at a local beach. Dive into the pristine ocean water before continuing onto Hai Van Pass, the highest point on Highway 1. Afterward, you'll ride on wide open roads which are free from traffic and with unmatched scenery before reaching the famous China Beach. You'll stop for a cold drink at this recreational landmark before arriving in Hoi An.

During this motorcycle tour, you will visit several places in Vietnam including Prao, mountain waterfalls for a picnic lunch, Hue, and Hoi An. You will also pass some places in Vietnam which have beautiful sceneries such as Ho Chi Minh Trail, an old-growth rainforest, A Shau Valley, Hai Van Pass, and China Beach.


Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served throughout this tour. On day 3, your lunch will be vegetarian prepared by Buddhist nuns at a local pagoda in Hue. On day 4, you will be provided with seafood lunch on a local beach.

Things to do (optional)

On day 1, you can walk up Marble Mountain into the rappelling area which will take about 10 to 15 minutes. The first rappel is a short walk from the practice area and then you can enjoy a fantastic view of the ocean. This 22-meter line has great exposure as well as fantastic scenery and it will make you feel like you are much higher than you actually are. Then, You will do your final rappel which is a monster 50-meter drop into a gaping hole which is so deep and dark so that you can’t see the bottom. This fantastic cave rappel drops right out of the jungle down into a temple chamber. Get ready for a full of Tomb Raider experience!
