After refreshments, you ascend into the highlands through Co Tu minority towns, stop for a picnic lunch, and swim in the idyllic mountain streams. You dine at a top local restaurant - a great experience by itself.

Day 2: Prao to Khe Sanh via A Luoi

Day two starts early with breakfast before embarking on a new section of the Ho Chi Minh trail. You ride through pristine rainforest along the Lao border and over spectacular mountain passes, then stop for a picnic lunch in a spectacular mountain waterfall, where you can cool off with a swim. Following this, you travel through the A Shau Valley, a famous American War battleground.

After lunch, you leave A Luoi and follow the Ho Chi Minh trail to Khe Sanh. You visit the Khe Sanh combat base, memorial, and museum.

Day 3: Khe Sanh along Highway 9 to Hue via Vinh Moc tunnels

Driving along Highway 9, you pass famous American War sites like the Rock Pile and Camp Carol, before crossing the former border between North and South Vietnam at the 17th parallel. You arrive at the Vinh Moc tunnels, where an entire village went underground in the 1960s to survive the bombing. After exploring the tunnels, you head to a local beach where you can cool off with a swim.

After lunch, you drive along the coastline and arrive in Hue late afternoon.

Day 4: Hue to Hoi An via Da Nang

You can visit the Hue Citadel in the morning, before riding out of Hue. You follow a distinctive coastal route and stop for a delicious seafood lunch at a local beach.

You swim here before continuing onto Hai Van Pass, the highest point on Highway 1. You ride on big open windy roads where traffic is rare and along some of the most scenic landscape in Vietnam. You stop at the famous China Beach for a cold drink before arriving in Hoi An.

"We (a group of 5 seniors) found these guys on advert for motorbike tours in vietnam and quickly emailed them for a trip. micheal is truly a speedy man when sending us back a very great proposal matching our needs, time. after some more questions, we rushed into a final deal with them and honestly everything was running smoothly as clock's work. We all were arranged free pickup at the airport upon arrival and 1 night stay at the old quarter's hotel, 100% our bikes are like-new CRFs under very good conditions. our tour guide - Vinh just showed up in a very experienced & professional way when giving us some very useful briefing information prior to the departure. His English is really excellent and explained all things very intensively on tour. Vinh also tried to rotate as much as possible different local foods at places that we traveled by to ensure we all can maximize tasting amazing foods in Vietnam. All accommodations are clean, well equipped with wifi - tv, hot water... we really enjoyed the trip so much and wish to come back again. and indochina motorbike tour is still our choice"
