Program

Day 1: Departure from Delhi to Manali

Arrive in Dellhi. Explore the city if time permits. Later in the evening, you will meet your fellow travellers at the designated pick-up point. Overnight journey by Volvo bus. You will reach Manali early morning and wake up in snow clad mountains with a new day.

Day 2: Stay in Manali

This adventurous trip starts with your arrival in Manali. Check-in to the hotel and make yourself comfortable to relax until the afternoon. Taste the flavors of the delicious Indian cuisine at the buffet organized at the hotel. Kaizen Adventours Private Limited have organized a tour briefing session about the details of the activities, route, challenges SOPs, do's and don'ts and other useful information related to your journey. Then comes the most important part. Kaizen Adventours Private Limited will introduce you to your main partner on this tour, your motorbike.

Day 3: Manali to Jispa via Rohtangpass

You will wake up early, fully recharged and begin your adventure. You will start your ride to Rohtang Pass (3.98 kilometers / 2.47 miles) via Manali. The beautiful Rohtang pass is the gateway to your bike tour. Rohtang actually means a “pile of corpses” and the name derived from a lot of people dying in bad weather, trying to cross the pass in old times but do not let that scare you. The 112 kilometers to Rohtang is a feast for the eyes because of the beautiful vistas all around you. Road to Rohtang is a mix of super smooth and super rough patches. Kokhsar is the first village in Lahaul Valley and road bifurcates towards Spiti at Gramphoo, little before Kokhsar. You will proceed towards Jispa as it is the last destination for the day via Kokhsar - Sisu - Tandi - Keylong. Enjoy your stay at Jispa after dinner and recharge yourself for the next day.

Day 4: Jispa to Leh

Today will be the most challenging day until you reach Leh. You will be passing through Gata Loops – Nakeela – Lachulung La – Pang – Moore Plains – Tanglang La – Upshi – Karu. Gata Loops is a series of 21 hairpin bends that take you to the top of Nakeela La, your third high mountain pass on this route. Right after Nakeela, after descending down for a few kilometers, you will again start climbing up the fourth high mountain pass of this route, Lachulung La, one of the easier passes. You will be passing through Pang then Moore Plains a 30-35 kilometers of plane stretch.After crossing this pass, you will ride through well-maintained roads all the way to Leh via Gya – Upshi - Karu. En-route, you will get to see the monasteries of Thiksey and Shey. Check-in to your hotel and spend your time exploring the local places. Rest for the night.

Day 5: Leh Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will ride towards the famous destination around Leh. You will ride to Thiksay Monastery. Afterwards, you will visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. The architecture and beauty of Shanti Stupa is unexplainable. The altitude of Shanti Stupa allows us to picturize the entire view of Leh Ladakh. During the evening, you can explore the shiny markets of Leh city. Dinner and overnight in Leh hotel.

Day 6: Leh to Nubra via Khardungla

After breakfast, you will ride to Nubra Valley via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the World, around 18,380 feet. You will stop at South Pullu for munching break before conquering Khardungla top. Another break at North Pullu then to the deskit monastery followed by hunder sand dunes where you can ride a double hump camel Village. Dinner and overnight at Nubra.

Day 7: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake

Today, after breakfast will start for Pangong. You will be riding alongside the river Shyok. The total distance on this road between Nubra and Pangong Tso is approximately 200 kilometers / 124.27 miles and the total travel time is about 7 hours. You will be passing through Khalsar - Agam -Shyok - Durbok - Tangste before reaching Pangong. You will have your lunch at Durbok. Check-in to your camps, take some rest and get fresh. Enjoy the mesmerizing views or take a walk along the Pangong Lake. Overnight at camp.

Day 8: Pangong Lake to Leh

You will begin your return journey today post breakfast by heading back towards Leh which will be 225 kilometers / 139.81 miles. The Chang La is a high mountain pass in Ladakh, India. It is claimed to be the second highest motorable road in the World. Chang La is approached from Leh via Kharu and Sakti village by an asphalt road. Upon your arrival at Leh, you will have a rest during the evening with dinner and night stay in hotel or camps.

Day 9: Leh to Sarchu

You begin early morning post breakfast for Sarchu which is 250 kilometers / 155.34 miles via Tanglang La. Tanglang La is paved with the exception of a very short unpaved section just north of the pass. Upon your arrival at Sarchu, you will have a rest during the evening. Dinner and night stay in camps.

Day 10: Sarchu to Manali via Baralacha

Post breakfast, you will head back towards your final destination at Manali which is 225 kilometers / 139.81 miles. You will be crossing via Bara-lacha La Pass. Bara-lacha La Pass, is a high mountain pass in Zanskar range. It connects Lahaul district in Himachal Pradesh. Upon your arrival at Manali, have a rest during the evening with dinner and night stay in hotel.

Day 11: Manali to Delhi

After breakfast, the day is free for local sightseeing and shopping.The semi-sleeper Volvo to Delhi will be in the evening between 18:00-19:00. Overnight journey to Delhi in Volvo which will be 537 kilometers / 333.68 miles. Explore local Manali for the rest of the day like Mall road, Hadimba temple and near cafes. Leave for Delhi in evening via air-conditioned Volvo bus taking some memories worth a life time.

Take airport metro from New Delh International airport after exit from airport and reach Kashmiri Gate from where you need to board our bus.

Arrival by bus

You will ride in our Volvo Bus from ISBT Kashmiri gate bus stop to Manali bus stand.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 10% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
