Day 1: Siem Reap

You will have an airport transfer or be getting settled into your hotel and meeting fellow riders then off to the temples for the day. Kickstart DirtBike Adventures Cambodia will arrange a guide and transport for you so you have a chance to learn about this amazing country’s history. Then, you’ll meet for an evening meal and go through the tour itinerary. You will be staying at a comfortable boutique hotel.

Day 2: Siem Reap to Anlong Veng

The awesome single track today will be leading you out of Siem Reap into the surrounding forests. You will then make your way to Anlong Veng through dense forest, sandy trails, and river crossings. You will arrive in the ex Khmer Rouge stronghold of Anlong Veng, where you can see how Pol Pot’s army was driven back to into Thailand. Staying at a hotel with air-conditioner and hot water.

Day 3: Anlong Veng to Preah Vihear

After breakfast, you will ride up the mountain to see Pol Pot’s grave, where there are some great views over the town. If there is a time, you can go and see Pol Pot's house and have a fun ride through the forest. You will then follow the Dangrek Mountains to the mountain-top temple of Preah Vihear on the Thai border. This will give you spectacular views from the top. Then, go back into town, where you will be staying in a hotel with air-conditioner and hot water.

Day 4: Preah Vihear to Kampong Sra Lao

In the morning, you can ride up the mountain to see Preah Vihear temple. The road is tarmac, but it is still a fun ride up to the mountain. Today, you will be mainly riding red dirt roads as you head east towards Stung Treng Province and then up near the Laos border, where you will cross the Mekong river to your stop for the night.

You will have the choice to camp or stay in a local guesthouse with great views of the Mekong. You will be close to the Laos border and the Preah Rumkel waterfall and rapids.

Day 5: Kampong Sra Lao to Banlung

After a 30-minute long boat trip crossing the Mekong river, you will start the ride on about 100 kilometers of graded dirt roads after which it will be about 100 kilometers of single track through the jungle. Conditions will be sandy with muddy sections if it has been raining. It will be another long day of riding.

You will be staying at a pleasant hilltop resort with a pool and great views. You are very close to the volcanic crater lake of Yeak Laom, which is a beautiful area with crystal clear waters which are great for swimming.

Day 6: Banlung (rest day)

Banlung is a nice lazy town. You can swim and chill at the Yeak Laom volcanic lake (highly recommended) or visit any of the numerous waterfalls, or visit a hill tribe village. It is up to you since this day is a day of rest and recuperation.

Day 7: Banlung to Senmonorom

Known as ‘The Death Highway’, depending on conditions, this road can be very challenging. Some awesome trails, lots of sand or mud (depending on when you go), and a long day in the saddle will get you to Senmonorom, the capital of Mondulkiri Province. A cooler climate with lovely rolling hills will lead you to some great riding. Staying in a hotel with air-conditioner and hot water. You may consider an upgrade to a beautiful 5-star resort, a nice treat after all that riding.

Day 8: Sen Monorom to Snuol

In the morning, you will visit Boo Sra Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Cambodia, where you can swim and zip-line over the enormous falls. You will then head out of the mountains back to central Cambodia. Rockier road and more technical terrain with some nice hills await you in today's riding. Stop over in Snuol for the night. Staying at a hotel.

Day 9: Snuol to Kampong Cham

Ride on more scenic roads today with small river crossings and rubber plantations, which will lead you back to the Mekong and you’ll follow into Kampong Cham and civilization. Staying at a hotel with air-conditioner and hot water.

Day 10: Kampong Cham to Phnom Penh

Today will be more easygoing, following the Mekong river back into Phnom Penh, where the tour finishes. If there is a time, you could go to the shooting range and you can try your luck with an AK-47 or an RPG at an extra cost. A nice way to end the trip is a sunset boat cruise in Phnom Penh on the Mekong river.
