Saach Pass is a 4,414-meter-high mountain pass in Chamba District, Himachal Pradesh, India on the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. It is 127 kilometers from the District Headquarters. It connects the Chamba Valley with the Pangi Valleys of Himachal Pradesh. The Saach Pass is also known as the "Death Road" or the most dangerous road to ride on. It's a bucket list off of every road-tripper who loves to ride on the Himalayas and live the life!
For six nights, accommodations will be on a double occupancy basis.
This adventurous trip starts with your arrival at Chandigarh. Reach Chandigarh latest by evening, attend tour briefing session on activities, route, challenges SOPs, do's and don'ts, and other useful information related to the journey. Later, you will handover your motorbike. Explore the market, have dinner, and overnight at the hotel.
In the morning, your Sach Pass bike tour rides towards Dalhousie. The route has lots of bends and you will also get used to the traffic of the area. In the evening, you will reach Dalhousie and check in to the hotel. You will have dinner and overnight at the hotel.
You will start your day with breakfast and proceed towards Bairagarh. Bairagarh is also known as the gateway for Sach Pass. Enroute, you will cover Chamba and Chamera Lake.
Today will be the most important day of the tour because traveling through this road is something which most of you dream to ride; Sach Pass at the height of 4,42- metre high (14,500 feet). It connects the Chamba Valley with the Pangi Valleys of Himachal Pradesh. The road is narrow and unmetalled. In the evening, reach Killar, have dinner, and overnight at a hotel.
Start your day early as sometimes Madgram Nalla near Udaipur will be flooded and you will not be able to cross it. You will have an easy drive to Udaipur exploring the beauty on the route. You can have lunch at Purthi Dhabha, depending upon the breaks you take in between. You will overnight in Udaipur.
After breakfast, you start your journey towards Manali. You will witness the beauty of this place in the morning as the route to Manali from here is smooth and you will be using the Atal tunnel to reach Manali via the Leh - Manali highway. You will have dinner and stay overnight at a hotel.
After breakfast, you head towards Chandigarh on the last part of this majestic tour, taking with you memories worth a lifetime and friendships to cherish forever!
