You will stay at three or four-star hotels and B&B's. Enjoy the comfort and charm of selected hotels by M2 MotoTours. The Grand Hotel Uriage represents the caliber of what you can expect on tour. The historic building retains all the architectural character of an 18th-century building with modern comforts. Tastefully decorated, and staffed with a team committed to make your stay a memorable one. The Grand Hotel Uriage features a complete spa with indoor / outdoor pool totally renovated in 2017. Uriage is renowned for its thermal spring water. Complete spa treatments are available.

In Garmisch, you’ll stay at the Forsthaus Oberau. A charming family owned the hotel that is conveniently located on the shuttle bus line to get to the festival. Enjoy the evening entertainment and beer garden as much as you like. The bus will bring you back to the hotel.

Day 0: Meeting and dinner in Grenoble (France)

You’ll assemble for a meet and greet, and safety briefing. Cocktails and dinner will follow.

Day 1: Grenoble - Chamonix Mont Blanc (France), 240 kilometers / 149 miles

Today’s ride takes you through the Bauges Mountains to Lake Annecy for a stop in this charming city complete with canal system. From there, it’s up to Chamonix to the Mont Blanc.

  • Approximately a five-hour ride

Day 2: Chamonix - Interlaken (Switzerland), 270 kilometers / 168 miles

Today’s ride takes you into Switzerland to the charming Interlaken. You’ll stop in Gruyeres, a charming medieval town with a visit to famous Swiss artist HR Giger museum, then ride to Interlaken in the shadow of Mount Eiger.

Day 3: Interlaken - Davos (Switzerland), 250 kilometers / 155 miles

Today’s ride takes you to Davos. Grimsel, Furka mountain passes on the menu.

Day 4: Davos - Garmisch (Germany), 280 kilometers / 174 miles

Today’s ride takes you to the Motorrad Days Festival in Garmisch, Partenkirchen in Bavaria. You will ride through Fluela Pass before crossing into Austria.

Day 5: BMW Motorrad Days Festival

Test ride any number of bikes, go on a day ride, do some sightseeing or check out the festival.

Day 6: BMW Motorrad Days fest

Today you can relax or go to the festival. You can try various bikes on test rides don’t miss the evening concert in the beer garden.

Day 7: Garmisch - Innsbruck (Austria), 200 kilometers / 124 miles

Today you will ride through the iconic Neuschwanstein Castle. From there, you will have a short hop to lovely Innsbruck.

Day 8: Innsbruck - Lienz (Austria), 250 kilometers / 155 miles

Today’s ride takes you to Lienz. The Grossglockner is on the agenda.

Day 9: Lienz - Merano (Italy), 225 kilometers / 140 miles

Today’s ride takes you through the stunning Dolomites and the Tre Cime Park to Merano.

Day 10: Merano - Domaso (Italy), 240 kilometers / 149 miles

Today’s ride takes you to the Italian Lake region.

Day 11: Domaso - Ivrea (Italy), 240 kilometers / 149 miles

Today’s ride takes you to Ivrea for a night in a castle.

Of course, there’s Italy with so much variety from the fresh vegetables to choice cuts, not forgetting pizza and pasta.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Lyon–Saint-Exupéry Airport (LYS).

You can also book your flight to arrive at Geneva Airport (GVA). Both airports offer shuttle buses and trains.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 25% of the total price.
  • The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 179 days before the arrival date.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 90 days before arrival.
