West Coast Canada Motorcycle Tour

Moto Experience Canada have combined the highlights from some of their favorite tours to create seven days of fun adventuring throughout western British Columbia. A mix of paved roads, dirt roads, and double track, you will weave your way through some of British Columbia's most beautiful scenery and riding areas. You will be staying at various lodges, cabins, ranches, and hotels along the way. Although you will have got the route, there is a ton more to do along the way. You can add some fun like helicopter rides to hit eco-friendly golf balls from on top of a mountain, gun ranges, horse riding, and more.

Because these tours are able to be booked any time of the summer, and are not bound to set dates, there are multiple options available in each of the areas you will visit. Once your tour is confirmed, Moto Experience Canada will make arrangements accordingly to fit your schedule and the availability.

Day 1: Pemberton to the Bridge River Valley, via back roads and mountain riding

Bralorne, Goldbridge, and the whole Bridge River Country are part of a historic Canadian gold mining community that now boasts a huge outdoor recreation and adventure community.

  • Accommodation: a back country lodge or cabin

Day 2: Bridge River Valley to Cache Creek, via back roads and some scenic road riding

The ride to Cache Creek passes some beautiful lakes and rock canyons as the surroundings turn to a desert shade of red.

Day 3: Cache Creek to Merritt, via a mix of back roads and scenic road riding through canyons

You will ride through various valleys, native communities, past the onion lake riding area, and down.

Day 4: Activity / rest day

Take a break and spend the night at a local lodge (or other by request) to unwind, eat great meals, and take a break from riding.

Day 5: Merritt to Princeton, via back roads

Spending the afternoon at Boss Lake Recreation Site for some swimming and lunch staying in Princeton for the night. The riding areas and lakes stretch for kilometers and kilometers between Merritt and Princeton and you will have a chance to explore and enjoy some nature.

Day 6: Princeton to Logan Lake, via the Kettle Valley Railway

The Kettle Valley Rail (KVR) Trail and the Columbia & Western Rail Trail is the longest rail trail network in British Columbia extending from Hope to Castlegar. Once a railway system between towns, it now provides a huge recreation trail providing 650 kilometers of fun for all. Many people bicycle, motorbike, and ATV there as it is one of the few parts of the KVR that allow motorized vehicles.

Day 7: Savona to Pemberton, via the scenic Highway 99 with sections of off-road riding along the way back to Pemberton

Check out the Hoodoo’s, magnificent rock features, ride the Deadman Vidette, and then, hit the Duffey Lake Road for more than 300 twisty turns back into Pemberton.


The tour changes slightly dependent on skill (you will go to the same places, but sometimes taking some different roads). You will usually ride between 220 to 360 kilometers per day with a mix of road and dirt.

Moto Experience Canada is located in Pemberton and all of their tours depart from there. They will take you exploring the West Coast in this tour. You will start your adventure from Pemberton, through the Bridge River Valley, Cache Creek, Merritt, Princeton, and many more spots along the way. You will ride through stunning mountain ranges, more lakes than you can imagine, historic sites, with road riding, dirt roads, and double track linking the towns together.


Some breakfasts and meals may be included dependent on the accommodation available at the time of the reservation. Many offer breakfast included and will be updated in your itinerary. All other meals and drinks are not included.

Along the way, there are many different adventure activities available. In the surrounding areas, you can almost do anything you can think of. There are golf courses, gun ranges, horse ranches, jet boating, heli excursions (including hitting eco friendly golf balls from on top of a mountain), and much more.
