The accommodation for the tour would be in beautiful 4 and 5-star hotels / B&Bs.

It is for this reason that Moto Tours Croatia were not guided by the popular names of the mountain passes such as Passo Stelvio or Grossglockner (which they will pass for sure) but they were aiming at small places along the road that truly capture the essence and the beauty of the journey, and the mentioned passes will just guide us to these places. They will spice it all up with luxurious stays in beautifully designed boutique hotels, apartments, and restaurants that are a real icing on the cake to this lovely story.

Moto Tours Croatia has taken care of everything, you just have to grab your motorcycle gear and accessories and sit on the plane. Leave everything else to Moto Tours Croatia and they truly mean everything. They will meet you at the Zagreb airport and see you off from it as well. Who knows, maybe you will come to a couple of days earlier to Zagreb, which they would highly recommend so that you can adjust to the time zone, but also to enjoy their hospitality a bit longer.

For the ultimate pleasure, Moto Tours Croatia has procured BMW GS motorcycles which they consider perfect for the journey. They offer a lot of torque and enough power. They are also extremely comfortable and dependable. All motorcycles are equipped with solid top cases, but also with side cases if needed.

Please be free to scroll down this page to see day by day overview and to find other information on the presented guided motorcycle tour. With respect to information about reservations and booking, please do not hesitate to contact your Moto Tours Croatia team which is always at your disposal.

Contact Moto Tours Croatia team also if you have your own group but the suggested dates are not good for you, that will be no problem for Moto Tours Croatia, they will adjust to you

Day 1: Airport Zagreb - arrival

Robert and his wife, your guide, will welcome you at the airport in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, where our fellowship begins. The first day, as a welcome day, is intended to give you a time for good rest in a hotel or you will do some sightseeing in the city Zagreb.

They will ensure that your bikes will be waiting for you at the hotel parking lot. Depending on free time maybe you won’t resist taking a short ride just to get friendly with the bikes. On the evening of our first day, a traditional welcome dinner will be organized where you get to know each other better and talk about the details of our trip. And of course something about the experience so far.

Day 2: Zagreb - Admont (Maribor)

You'll head out to a beautiful adventure in the morning hours. Your first day ends in Admont, a beautiful Austrian town famous for the world’s largest monastery library. Moto Tours Croatia will be taking the route through Northern Croatia, Slovenia, and the famous Route 69 in Austria. A dinner for the whole group is organized in Admont, and Moto Tours Croatia recommends a visit to the local library.

Day 3: Admont - Zell Am See (Hallstatt)

After breakfast, the goal is to visit Zell Am See, you will ride to Hallstatt, a village on the southwestern shore of Lake Hallstatt, located in the Austrian area of Salzkammergut in Upper Austria which is best known for its oldest salt mine.

Hallstatt, together with Dachstein mountain, forms a cultural landscape of Salzkammergut which was entered into UNESCO’s list of world heritage sites in Europe in 1997. A walk through this beautiful town is planned after which you'll head out in the direction of Zell Am See where you have an organized dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Zell Am See - Bolzano (Grossglockner pass)

Grossglockner pass, Grossglockner High Alpine Road! Today, you will experience a spectacular alpine ride, reaching the highest elevation of 2.504 meters / 8.215 feet and enjoying a breathtaking view. Having our breath taken away, taking some photos and a shortstop, you are going to go to Italy, destination Bolzano, all the while riding through the amazing scenery. In Bolzano, you again have an organized dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: day of rest

You deserve a short break. A day used for preparing for the next pass, but also a day which you can use to visit on your own Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet. Or perhaps you would prefer a relaxing ride along Lago di Garda, a famous tourist destination. It is up to you to decide, and Moto Tours Croatia will help you organize it. On this day, you'll also stay in Bolzano for dinner and sleeping.

Day 6: Bolzano (Stelvio pass) Bormio

Today, you are conquering Passo Stelvio. It is the main reason for having taken this trip, with its highest point reaching no less than 2.758 meters / 9.048 feet. It will be a difficult ascent, for your bikes. When you reach the top, you'll stop and spend enough time to be able to take photos of all the surrounding beauty and to simply enjoy the beauty of nature. You will descend on the southern side in the direction of Bormio, where over dinner you'll chat about impressions, exchange photos and enjoy a well-deserved break.

Day 7: Bormio - Cortina d'Ampezzo

The day designated for the return choosing nothing less than spectacular roads, passes, places. Cortina d’Ampezzo, a famous Italian ski resort is our final destination for today. You will have time for a short stroll, sightseeing in a beautiful town in the Alps, and lastly dinner in good company.

Day 8: Cortina d'Ampezzo - Tarvisio

Today Moto Tours Croatia is planning a nice Dolomite road e.g. Agordo valley, Duran pass, Zoldo valley, Staulanza pass, Selva di Cadore, Giau pass, on your way to Tarvisio where you will stay and have dinner.

Day 9: Tarvisio - Motovun

Going from Italy, passing through Slovenia, coming to Croatia, all the way traveling through beautiful passes, picturesque towns, villages. For the end of this day, dinner awaits you in Motovun, a lovely Istrian town, which will make you experience the true spirit of Istria, tasting truffle specialties and enjoying renowned Istrian wines.

Day 10: a day for rest Motovun

Today is a rest day but an active rest. At dusk, you'll head to Rovinj, perfect for a short walk in the city and a view of the unique sunset. Who knows, you might even take a dip in the sea.

Day 11: Motovun - Zagreb

The very last day of motorcycle rides. However, you'll not head straight to Zagreb. You'll get there through Buzet, Kotli, and Hum (the smallest town in the world ), and then you'll drop by in Opatia, a famous tourist destination, and only then will you (after coffee in Opatia) be able to say that you are going to Zagreb.

Day 12: breakfast in Zagreb, departure

Zagreb again. Your transfers to the airport will be arranged of course. The impressions you take with you will be most important to us. At the end of the day-trip, you will meet new people and learn about customs, and perhaps strike up a new friendship, or you will simply return home with some amazing photos, who knows. Moto Tours Croatia really hopes that you will enjoy each and every day of our journey. Have a safe flight and of course - hope to see you again.

Yours Andrea and Robert!
