After a good night's sleep and breakfast, you will pick up the bikes. Traveling through small country roads / paths, and various Hindu kampung (villages), with beautiful rice terraces, which are unknown to the large public, you will drive towards Tabanan.

While playing on your motorbike, you drive through the jungle forest and enjoy breathtaking views until Munduk. This town is located in the Buleleng Regency mountains. There, you will stay at a pleasant hotel with swimming pool and magnificent views over the various mountain peaks and green valleys with vast rice terraces.

Day 3: Munduk - Banyuwangi (100 kilometers / 62 miles)

After breakfast, you will ride over little back roads and through several Hindu kampungs (villages) and their beautiful rice terraces, as yet unknown to the general public. You will ride further passing the Munduk Ngandang and Aya mountains to the coastal road, followed by the ferry crossing (one hour) to Java.

After lunch, you will leave the main road. You will drive to the foot of the volcanic mountain Kawah Ijen. Next, you will drive through the mountainous area along beautiful rice terraces, following surprising dirt paths through small villages. In addition to rice, vegetables and fruit are grown in this region. Further, you will visit a coffee plantation where the famous "coffee luwak" is produced. Tonight, you sleep in Desa Licin, Banyuwangi, in a cozy resort with pool and mountain views.

Day 4: Banyuwangi - Kalibaru (100 kilometers / 62 miles)

Today, you will be awaken in this wooded area probably by the sounds of the animals. You will have views of the coastline of East Java. The ride goes through colonial plantations which used to be set up by the Dutch occupiers and are still almost intact.

You will be following many small paths and roads next to the plantations. You can decide and choose the difficulty of driving. Tonight, you will stay in Kalibaru. You will sleep in beautiful and clean cottages on a spacious landscaped park with a large swimming pool and restaurant.

Day 5: Kalibaru - Jember (100 kilometers / 62 miles)

Yesterday was a quiet driving day. Today, you drive again enjoying nature parks and plantations. You leave the main road and drive through the mountainous area of Gumitir through the plantations. Depending on the weather, a part of the path can become challenging. You will drive through abandoned forests with wonderful views of the valley where we are going.

When you leave the park, you will follow the paved road to the town of Jember. It is an authentic Indonesian city where few Western tourists come. Until late in the evening, there is a cozy vegetable and meat market "Pasar Malam". In the central park "Alun Alun" are several warungs (food stalls) which are simple however very nice. You will spend the night in a modern hotel with swimming pool on the roof.

Day 6: Jember - Cemaralawang / Bromo (100 kilometers / 62 miles)

You will leave Jember and drive south towards the southern coast of East Java. In Teluk Love, you will stop to enjoy a cup of coffee. Near Teluk Love is a beautiful beach where families seek entertainment in the weekends. Next, you will drive to the west via paddy fields and old colonial plantations where the old railway line is still situated, in order to transport the crops of the country.

You will follow this old railway line and drive through little villages to Lumajang. This city is a lot smaller than Jember however if you drive through it, you will notice that everything is happening around the main streets. However, if you take a side street, you straight away leave the town and drive into the rice fields.

After a local lunch, you will proceed with your trip towards the active Bromo Volcano. You will leave Lumajang and drive following a unknown secondary road to the Bromo Tengger in Semeru National Park. Towards the top, the temperature is fresher and the scenery is increasingly more impressive. The changing weather has great influence on these mountains and it can sometimes be warm and then all of a sudden cold/soft.

After you reached the top, you dive back from 2300 metres to the sand sea 8 to 10 kilometers around the Bromo Volcano. Your motorbikes trudge to get to the other side to your hotel. As the hotel is close to the "volcanic playground", the rest of the day, you can take the motorbike to go to the edge of the crater or to run and take a look into it. You will spend the night in Cemaralawang in a simple hotel with good beds and a view of the volcano Bromo.

Day 7: Cemaralawang - Jember (100 kilometers / 62 miles)

Optionally, you can go on a early morning trip to see the fantastic sunrise on the Bromo Volcano and Mount Semeru. You will start at 4.00 a.m., a 4 × 4 will pick you up and drive on the sand surface to 2700 meters to see the sunrise. After breakfast, you will have an adventurous drive through the sandy plain to the other side of the volcano to descent towards Lumajang.

When leaving the city, you will drive through small roads and various villages. Finally, you will drive back along old colonial plantations and follow the old railway. After lunch, you will drive off road along plantations on the foot of the mountain Argapura. You will drive through wooded area and if the path is wet, this drive can be challenging. Your hotel in Jember is a new modern hotel with swimming pool

Day 8: Jember - Kawah Ijen (100 kilometers / 62 miles)

Today, you will drive on paved and unpaved roads to the northern entrance of the Kawah Ijen National Park. You will drive along coffee plantations where the Arabica coffee is grown for Albert Heijn, Nespresso, and many other large companies. The famous and expensive "Luwak" coffee is also produced here. You will spend the night in Jember in a simple guesthouse next to the coffee factory.

Day 9: Kawah Ijen - Canggu, Bali (140 kilometers / 87 miles)

Optionally, you can climb the volcano tonight with a guide climb to have look at the "blue fire" in the crater of the volcano Kawah Ijen. This walking tour takes about three hours. If you prefer to sleep a little longer in the morning, you can walk to the crater and look to the sunrise.

Next, you will descend towards the port in order to take the ferry back to Bali. Depending on the tide, you will drive via the beach as much as possible back to Canggu. Canggu offers many tasty little restaurants and bars on the beach, so on your last night, you will enjoy this. Your overnight stay is in the same hotel as at the start of the trip.

Day 10: Departure from Canggu, Bali

You have to pack your suitcase again and you can do some last shopping. Most flights leave in the afternoon so you can relax on the beach or at the pool. Your tour leader will bring you back to the airport.
