Discover a hidden gem in Africa and let its wonders unfold before you as you get to know Rwanda by heart. Rich in heritage and a history with stories to tell, you will visit museums, memorial centers, and communities. Explore the mountains and there, you will try to find the resident primates of Volcanoes National Park. That is an exciting feat you will not get from just any tour. What will define an adventure than the journey itself? You will be riding the dirt roads of Rwanda so be prepared to awe at impressive landscapes and fully experience them as you travel.
During this tour, you will be staying in various accommodations. For the mid-range package, the accommodation will be in two to three star hotels while for the budget package, accommodation will be in comfortable middle-class hotels, hostel, and guest house.
Today you are riding through the Forrest of 1000 species. Nyungwe Forest National Park is the largest protected mountain forest in Africa that covers between 1600 and 2000 square meters. You will stop for a canopy walkway. Ride carefully! There are often chimpanzees playing around or crossing the road.
This day, you are riding 50% off-road while enjoying the irresistible stunning view of Lake Kivu and hundreds of it Islands. You will also have time to enjoy boat ride to the most known islands in Kibuye - Napoleon and Amahoro Island.
From Kinunu to Gisenyi Public Beach, you will be riding off-road before sightseeing two cities: Gisenyi in Rwanda and Goma of R.D.Congo separated by the international border. You will be at La Corniche One Stop Border Post and head to Volcanoes National Park.
You will be riding near the home of Mountain Gorillas, Rwanda's Twin Lakes - Ruhondo and Burera. Interact with gorilla guardians and know more about Rwandan traditions.
You will visit the Campaign Against Genocide Museum located in the parliament building in Central Kigali. You will also have the opportunity of visiting Kigali Genocide Memorial where some 250,000 victims of Rwanda’s 1994 genocide lie buried, a place of remembrance and learning which hosts tens of thousands of visitors each year. It is one of the top ten landmarks to visit in Africa and also one of TripAdvisor's 2015 Travelers Choice awards.
Vincent graduated from Rwanda Tourism University College and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Travel and Tourism Management. He has an experience of over 10 years riding motorcycles all around in Rwanda. He has seven years serving as a tourism and hospitality trainer and working as a professional guide for his students and international tourists from all over the world. He has got an insight of African hotels. He will make a better recommendation for accommodation, food, and beverage experience suitable for motorcycle riders. He was trained from different hotels in Europe and Germany.
