Today, you will be riding through the forest of 1000 species, Nyungwe Forest National Park. It is the largest protected mountain forest in Africa that covers between 1600 and 2000 square meters. You will make a stop for a canopy walkway. Ride carefully! There are often chimpanzees playing around or crossing the road.
Arrive at Akagera National Park which is now a home to over 8000 large animals. The park is also home to one of Africa's highest hippo densities and crocodiles, as well as the rare sitatunga (a member of the antelope family) and more than 520 bird species. While exploring the most scenic savannah, you are likely to see the African Big Five currently available in the park.
You will visit the Campaign Against Genocide Museum located in the parliament building in Central Kigali. You will also have the opportunity of visiting Kigali Genocide Memorial where some 250,000 victims of Rwanda’s 1994 genocide lie buried, a place of remembrance and learning which hosts tens of thousands of visitors each year. It is one of the top ten landmarks to visit in Africa from Tripadvidor's 2015 Travellers Choice awards.

This motorcycle tour will take place in Rwanda, starting and ending in Kigali. The tour covers some of the best national parks in the country, including Nyungwe National Park, Akagera National Park, and Volcanoes National Park.
Akagera is, above all, a big game country! Herds of elephant and buffalo emerge from the woodland to drink at the lakes. Visitors might stumble across a spotted hyena or even lions. Giraffe and zebra amble through the savannah, and more than a dozen types of antelope inhabit the park.
On your road from Kigali to Nyungwe Forest National Park, you have the opportunity to visit Rwanda King's Palace in Nyanza (built in 1932) and the Ethnographic Museum in Huye (132 kilometers from Kigali) built in 1987 and now one of Africa's finest ethnographic collections.
In Nyungwe National Park, you will experience the rainforest from Canopy Walkway, hanging 60 meters above the forest floor between giant trees and towers, a stunning view of the park's amazing wildlife and nature.
