You will be staying in a double room at various accommodations including three and four-star hotels (local classification).

Program

Day 1: Arrival and Yerevan city tour

Arrival in the capital of Armenia, Yerevan and then transfer to your hotel accommodation. You will start the tour with the tour through the capital of Armenia: Yerevan. For ages this city has been known as a “pink city” because of the color of the stone it has been built with. After that, you will familiarize with motorcycles in the garage.

Day 2: Yerevan - Amberd (150 kilometers / 93 miles)

Arrival at the garage at 08:00. You will be taking the direction towards Geghard Monastery with stops at the ancient temple in Garni and Geghard Monastery. Then, you will be riding uphill to Mount Aragats.

On the way, you will visit the village Oshakan, where you will visit the church of Saint M. Mashtoc and the grave of Mesrop Mashtoc, who was the founder of the Armenian alphabet. There will be stops at Yezidi nomadic herders and Lake Kari Lich.

Day 3: Amberd - Stepanavan (180 kilometers / 112 miles ) / (70 kilometers / 43 miles on dirt road)

Today, you will visit the Alphabet Park and Aparan Water Reservoir. On the way, you will see the beautiful Saghmosavank Monastery. You will ride north to the waterfall "Trchkan" at Shirakamut Village, then by a dirt road to Stepanavan.

Day 4: Stepanavan - Ijevan (160 kilometers / 99 miles)

You will be visiting the fortress "Lori Berd", then going to Odzun Village. There will be a short visit to the sixth-century monastery. Afterward, you will go down to the Debed River gorge and next to Sanahin and Haghpat Monastery.

Day 5: Ijevan - Dilijan (150 kilometers / 93 miles) / (75 kilometers / 47 miles on dirt road)

You will be going on a dirt road to Navur Village, then to the Lake Parz Lich. There will be a stop at Goshavank Monastery and a short break at a cafe near the lake. Tour continues to the monastery of Haghartsin (10-13th centuries), an example of the harmony of nature and architecture. You will enjoy folk music.

Day 6: Dilijan - Yeghegnadzor (175 kilometers / 109 miles on asphalt)

You will be going to the village of Molokans, Semenovka. The next stop is on the picturesque peninsula of Lake Sevan. Taste fish from the lake at a restaurant on the beach. You will visit the Hayrivank Monastery, perched on a cliff above the lake, then visit the medieval cemetery in Noradus Village. You will ride through the Selim Pass to Yeghegnadzor. On the way, there will be a quick stop at the caravanserai on the Silk Road.

Day 7: Yeghegnadzor - Goris (150 kilometers / 93 miles)

Today, you will visit Jermuk and a place is known as "Karahunj” Stonehenge. The next stop is at the old settlement of Khndzoresk.

Day 8: Goris - Kapan (130 kilometers / 81 miles) (80 kilometers / 50 miles on dirt road)

Go to M2 highway up to the fork of the road near Shurnukh Village, taking this dirt road with numerous serpentines running through picturesque mountains. There is a small church on the road, Bgheno-Noravank.

Taking the direction of Tatev Monastery. You can choose to ride on Europe's longest cable car there and back. After the visit to the monastery, you will go to the city of Kapan.

Day 9: Kapan - Goris (260 kilometers / 162 miles)

You will depart from Kapan to the south through Shikahogh Reserve towards the border with Iran. On the way, visit the Lake Kashuni. Making a big loop through the beautiful mountain road (160 kilometers) going back to Kapan and then too.

Day 10: Goris - Yerevan (250 kilometers / 155 miles)

Returning to Yerevan. Sightseeing in the Noravank monastery - a great religious and cultural center of the 12th century. On the way, visit Areni Wine Factory to taste local wine made from special sorts of vines.

Visit Khor Virap Monastery, with a view to the twin peaks of Mount Ararat. Farewell dinner in the evening.

Day 11: Departure

You will have breakfast and transfer to the airport.

A motorcycle insurance of 250 EUR damage deposit is taken for each bike. Everything that exceeds 250 EUR is covered by insurance.

Location

This tour will take you on an adventure in Armenia, where you will ride along the scenic nature starting from Yerevan all the way to Goris, and back to Yerevan. Armenia is situated along the route of the Great Silk Road, it has fallen within the orbit of a number of cultural influences and empires.

It is one of the earliest Christian civilizations, its first churches were founded in the fourth century. Its rich cultural and architectural heritage combines elements from different traditions.
