Program

Itinerary

Day 1: Hoi An – Kham Duc Town (130 kilometers / 81 miles – 6 hours)

  • Visit Cham tower - Rice paddies field
  • Visit rice paper work-shop, incense making facilities, and Cao Dai Temple
  • You will enjoy swimming at G’Rang water fall (35 meters high) on the way to Laos
  • Go through overpass suspension bridge on motorbike and visit the Kotu village of Kotu people
  • Follow Ho Chi Minh road, where you visit the most beautiful highland sceneries, panoramic view of the mountain, and learn how to use the Ho Chi Minh trail during Vietnam War
  • Check into hotel in Kham Duc town around 5 p.m.

Day 2: Kham Duc – Kon Tum (170 kilometers / 106 miles – 8 hours)

  • Continue on the Ho Chi Minh trail with spectacular view and explore the real local life along the trail
  • Visit S’Trieng people and S’trieng community house. They are small tribes living along the Ho Chi Minh trail and you will meet the local S’trieng people and learn the cultural practices
  • More sightseeing at Sedang people and local school for children along the mountain road
  • Cross the monkey bridge of S’trieng people - Rice terraces on the mountain
  • Have lunch at the border of Vietnam - Laos
  • Visit the Phoenix Air base and hear the stories of Charlie Hill
  • Stop at Dakto base and hear the stories of war in Vietnam
  • Cassava flour making facility
  • Check into hotel in Konrowang village

Day 3: Kon Tum – Pleiku – Draysap water falls (230 kilometers / 143 miles – 9 hours)

  • After breakfast, visit Kon Ktu village of Bahna people and Bahna traditional Rong house
  • Visit the wooden church (French church since 1930) and orphanage village
  • Continue on the road to enjoy the tea plantation with its beautiful view and visit Sea Lake (which used to be a volcanic crater)
  • See the Ja-rai village and see how they grow pepper (this area is special for the pepper farms)
  • Explore ancient tombs of Ja-Rai people and you will learn so much about their special customs
  • After a local lunch, ride through and visit the rubber plantation and bee farm
  • Visit the forge where the local people make the agricultural tools
  • Check in Draysap fall and enjoy the bungalow on top of the water fall (local barbecue for dinner - extra)

Day 4: Draysap fall – Lak Lake (80 kilometers / 50 miles – 3 hours)

  • Trek down to Dray Sap's Dray Nu falls with the larger view on top of the water falls
  • Ride the bike through the jungle and check in the secret pool in the jungle where you can jump and swim in fresh water
  • Back on the road again to visit local brick factory, traditional drum makers; as well as noodle and rice paper making by locals
  • See the cacao farm and ride on red dirt road to Lak Lake. Take a ferry with your bikes to cross the river and visit M’lieng village or Tay and Ede peoples
  • Arrive to Lak Lake and row the wooden boat for fishing with the M’nong. You will enjoy the sunset on the lake
  • Go back to Jun village of the M’nong people, cook with them, and enjoy dinner at the village. Your guide will talk more about the customs, local life of M’nong people, and you will have a special gong performance by the M’nong and they will teach you how play it

Day 5 : Depart from Lak lake to Dalat: ( 170km – 8 hours )

  • Visit the Jun village of the M’nong people and see the elephant walking around the village. The guide will show you the real local life of M’nong
  • Take pictures of the rice paddy with floating houses on the river and special view of the coffee plantation on the way
  • Ride through the coffee plantation and visit the coffee farm (the capital of coffee in Vietnam )
  • Trek down to Elephant Fall, visit Linh An Temple, and see the Happy Buddha statue
  • See the silk farm and local silk factory
  • Enjoy the weasel coffee farm and try the best coffee in Vietnam
  • Visit Van Thanh flower farm and the Crazy House of Dalat (fees extra)
  • The tour ends at your hotel so it's time to say goodbye
