You will stay at lodges on the route from Cape Town through the Namib Desert to Windhoek where the tour ends.

Program

Day 1: Cape Town to St. Helena Bay, South Africa (180 kilometers, tar)

You meet the organizers at the motorcycle rental company where you collect your motorcycle. You will do a day ride exploring some breathtaking scenery along the West Coast of Africa and enjoy the scenic route over mountain passes in the Cape wine-lands. You will sleepover at a small beach hotel in St Helena Bay

Day 2: St. Helena Bay to Springbok (480 kilometers, tar)

You will ride to Springbok and experience the beauty and the people of Namaqualand! Sleep over is rganized at Springbok.

Day 3: Springbok to Grunau, Namibia (274 kilometers, tar)

You will ride to a small town in the extremely dry rocky Southern Namibia - Grunau, crossing the Namibia / South Africa border over the Orange River.

Day 4: Grunau to Luderitz (500 kilometers, tar)

You will ride to Luderitz, Namibia. You might find some of the desert wild horses on your way.

Day 5: Luderitz, Namibia - Rest day (80 kilometers, gravel and tar)

Today is a rest day. You can visit the Ghost town of Kolmanskop in the morning and spend the rest of the day exploring the small town and its surroundings.

Day 6: Luderitz to Maltahohe (374 kilometers: 90 kilometers on tar 284 kilometers on gravel)

You will ride further north to a farming village Maltahohe and see the changing desert landscape with awesome photo opportunities.

Day 7: Maltahohe to Sesriem (170 kilometers, gravel)

You will ride to Sesriem, traveling on gravel roads that might be challenging, but by now you will be able to conquer the desert roads of Namibia

Day 8: Sesriem to Sossusvlei

Today it's a rest day with a guided vehicle tour to Sossusvlei. You will see some of the world's highest sand dunes and visit Deadvlei / Dooie Vlei and climb "big daddy" if you can.

Day 9: Sesriem to Swakopmund (350 kilometers: 320 kilometers gravel)

You will ride to Swakopmund traveling on gravel roads through the desert via two mountain passes. You will visit an oasis in the desert and eat apple pie at Solitaire.

Day 10: Swakopmund (80 kilometers gravel and tar)

Today you explore Swakopmund and its surroundings and you can do optional adventure activities like a quad bike dune ride or tandem skydive (not included in the price).

Day 11: Swakopmund to Windhoek ( 400 kilometers gravel and tar mixed)

You travel to Namibia's capital Windhoek. Along the way you will stop over at the Spitzkoppe in Damaraland. The tour ends with a goodbye dinner at the famous Joes Beerhouse.

Day 12: Windhoek, departure day

You return to your country from Windhoek International Airport.

On day 8 you will go on at day trip with a guided vehicle to Sossusvlei. You will see some of the world's highest sand dunes and visit Deadvlei / Dooie Vlei and climb "big daddy" if you can.

The ride starts in Cape Town South Africa and finishes in Windhoek Namibia. It will be a very scenic ride with different terrain.
