Hot showers and cold beers await you, it doesn't get any better than this.
This day will be the longest day. After a yummy breakfast, you will head out passing the strange and wonderful rock / boulder mountain called "Black Mountain" up to historic Cooktown and famous Windy Hill panoramic lookout for some great photo opportunities, then onto the Starke Track which is full of great challenges, sandy sections, and many creek crossings to really put your skills to use. You will notice the scenery dramatically change to savannah grasslands as you come to Kalpowar Crossing where you will camp again under the stars with the warmth and ambiance of the campfire. You can have a chance to catch a Barra and possibly
spot a crocodile.
You will be leaving Kalpowar Crossing by tight sandy tracks with a few more creek crossings before meeting up with the support vehicle for refueling before you venture on more exciting trails taking you through the township of Coen, then on to Archer River where you will camp again under the starlit sky with North Queensland Trail Bike Adventure's legendary campfire.
You will set off early on another exciting day and head through the country on the clear cool inviting upper Wenlock and Pascoe Rivers in the uplands of Cape York Peninsula, Northern Australia and many private trails only accessible to North Queensland Trail Bike Adventure. North Queensland Trail Bike Adventure's exclusive, exotic, fun, and private trails are fantastic and then you camp in a bushland setting on the upper Wenlock River.
This day will be the most challenging day as you ride the full length of the very scenic Telegraph track with many sandstone river crossings and sandy trails of fun and challenges. Some tour companies will short cut this track at fruit bat falls to rush you up to the tip the same day. At North Queensland Trail Bike Adventure, you will enjoy riding the full length of the Telegraph track and riding to the tip of Cape York and pristine beaches and side tracks the following day. You will pop into Fruit Bat Falls and Elliot Falls for a refreshing swim and lunch and refuel before continuing north to Bamaga to Seisia for camping close to the beach with views of the most awesome sunsets over the ocean.
You will be back in the saddle of your mechanical Brumby for your final day ride to venture through a tropical rainforest that twists and turns until the very end of the tip then the last 200 meters' distance is covered by foot over rocky escarpment to the most Northern Tip of Australia. It's time to cheer "we’ve made it" and shake hands, etc. After the tip, you will head out to Somerset and do the awesome 5 beaches ride, then back to camp for North Queensland Trail Bike Adventure's legendary farewell dinner and some good ole karaoke watching the sunset and last night sleeping under the stars.
There will be an early start to your day as you set off on an ocean voyage across to Thursday Island then boat ride ferry across to Horn Island for lunch and relax by the pool at the local pub, then onto your last leg by air to Cairns down the spectacular East Coast with endless photo opportunities. This will complete your awesome trail bike adventure and ticks that "bucket list".
