You will stay in various accommodations throughout Sri Lanka for 12 nights.



Day 1: Negombo - Anuradhapura

At 06:00, you are riding to Anuradhapura. Anuradhapura was established in the fourth century BC and was the first capital of Sri Lanka. During the third century BC, Buddhism reached in this city. From there, Buddhism speeded to Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, and all over the world. Although it was the national capital for over 1,300 years up to the tenth century AD, repeated innovations by Indians resulted in the capital being moved to Polonnaruwa. After enjoying the ride, you will stay at a hotel and overnight in Anuradhapura.

Day 2: Anuradhapura - Willpattu - Habarana

Early in morning, you are riding to Wilpattu National Park. In the jungle, you can take breakfast. Wilpattu National Park is located in the northwest coast of the dry zone. It is home to leopards, elephants, wild boars, spotted deer, sloth bear, peacock, crocodiles, national bird, and more. It is the largest national park in Sri Lanka. You can enjoy jeep safari. After enjoying Wilpattu National Park, you will ride to Habarana, and stay at a hotel and overnight in Habarana.

Day 3: Harabana - Sigiriya - Dambulla

After breakfast, you are riding to Sigiriya. Sigiriya Lion Rock is an ancient fortress and palace ruin. The Sigiriya was built during the reign of King Kashyapa I (AD 477 – 495). You will climb 950 steps and you can see the famous ancient printing of the Sigiriya lady. It is registered as a world heritage. You will proceed to Dambulla and visit the impressive cave temple dating back to the first century BC. It is also world heritage. The complex of five caves with over 2.000 square meters of painted walls and ceilings is the largest area of paintings found in the world. It contains over 150 images of the Buddha statues. After visiting and enjoying, you will stay at a hotel and overnight in Dambulla

Day 4: Dambulla - Pinnawala - Kandy

After breakfast, you are riding to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage nearby Kegalle. It was created to protect abandoned or orphaned elephants. You can see elephants roaming freely around the sanctuary area. 10:00 to 12:00 / 14:00 to 16:00 is bathing time, meanwhile 09: 00 / 13:15 / 17:00 is feeding time.

Next, you are riding to Kandy. It is the last capital of Sri Lanka and is a major tourists destination. You will visit the temple of the tooth, batik factory, silk factory, gem museum, cultural center, arts and crafts center, Kandy city center, Kandy Lake, and Bahirawakanda. At 17:00 you go and appreciate Kandyan Dance. You will stay at a hotel and overnight in Kandy.

Day 5: Kandy - Mahiyanganaya

After breakfast, you are riding to Mahiyangana. Mahiyangana is a small town located 72 kilometers east of Kandy. It is Sri Lanka's first city visited by Buddha to stop the war between the race of Yakshas (demons) and the race of Nagas (serpents). In this town, native tribes called Veddhas live in. You will look around their lifestyle and stay at a hotel and overnight in Mahiyangana.

Day 6: Mahiyanganaya - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, you are riding for Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya is the main producer of Ceylon tea. You can get a sensational view of tea plantation and waterfalls. During British colonial period, Nuwara Eliya flourished as a summer retreat. You can see colonial style buildings and still maintain the old English-style lawns and gardens. You will stay at a hotel and overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 7: Nuwara Eliya - Horton Place - Ella

After breakfast, you are riding to Horton Plains National Park. There is a plateau spread of meadow and 2,000 meters above sea level. There are many specific plants and they are rare in the world. Carnivore doesn't live here. You will proceed to World's End. It is an abrupt cliff. Its view is very beautiful. You can enjoy great outdoors. You will stay at a hotel and overnight in Ella.

Day 8: Ella - Kataragama - Tissamaharamaya

After breakfast, you are riding to Kataragama. Kataragama is a zonal town in Surat City and host of the world famous Surat Diamond Industry, the area is also known as dense concrete jungle. It was a Nagar Panchayat in 1970's but was amalgamated in Surat Municipal Corporation.

Due to the development of Diamond Industries in the town it spurred growth in population and its population is around 0.7 million as of 2008 estimates. You will visit Kataragama after riding, Tissamaharama. It is located in the southeast of Sri Lanka. This town is a starting point for Yala National Park and Kataragama. It was the capital of the Sinhalese Kingdom of Ruhuna. The large artificial Tissa Wewa lake and Pagodas are built that time. You will stay at a hotel and overnight in Tissamaharama.

Day 9: Tissamaharama - Galle - Unawatuna

After breakfast, you are riding to Galle where is the largest city in Southern Sri Lanka. In the 14th century, Galle prospered as the key port of trade between Arabic trader. In the 16th century, a fortress was built by Portuguese. After that, Dutch controlled and expanded the fortress. After Galle, you will visit Unawatuna. It is located just five kilometers southeast of Galle. Its beach is small, but still remains idyllic scene and clean with white sand. You will stay at a hotel and overnight in Unawatuna.

Day 10: Unawatuna - Ratnapura

After breakfast, you are riding to Ratnapura. It is the city of gemstones. Ratna means gem in Sinhala. From old times, Sri Lanka is very famous for gems in the world. Ratnapura has a varieties collection of gems including sapphires, rubies, star rubies, topaz, cat's eyes, aquamarines, tourmalines, garnets, amethysts, moonstones, alexandrites, and more. You will visit a gem mine to see how to pick gems up from well and Ratnapura National Museum.

Day 11: Ratnapura - Adam's Peak

Early in the morning, you are riding to Sri Pda (Adam's Peak) with a packed breakfast. It is a special holy mountain for Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, and Christians. It is located in the southwest of Nuwara Eliya and 2,238 meters above sea level. The best season is from November to May. Many pilgrims and tourists climb this mountain at this time. You will start to climb up in the middle of the night, look up the sunrise at the summit, and then early morning go down the mountain.

Day 12: Adam's Peak - Kithulgala

After breakfast, you are riding to Kitulgala. Kitulgala is located on the southwest of Kandy. It is very much famous for white water rafting in the Kalani River. You can choose from among courses from beginner to advanced. You will stay at a hotel and overnight in Kitulgala. The last day after breakfast riding to Negombo or your next destination.
