During the tour, you will stay in various two and three-star hotels. They are family or independently-run hôtel with secure parking and a restaurant (or in a walking distance).


Day 1, September 21: Arrival in Bologna

Arrival in Bologna. Hotel check-in.

Day 2, September 22: Bologna - Sienna (220 kilometers / 136 miles)

After a visit at the Ducati factory museum, you head towards Firenze through the curvy roads of northern Tuscany. You will stop and wander in the streets of Firenze to see its imposing Duomo. Then, you will reach Siena and its Palio square by the Chianti wine road.

Day 3, September 23: Sienna - Orvieto (198 kilometers / 123 miles)

When you leave Siena we will ride the gorgeous roads of the Crete Sienese so emblematic of the Tuscany landscape. You will visit some of the most beautiful villages in the region: Montepulciano, Pienza. Then, you will reach Orvieto perched on its rock.

Day 4, September 24: Orvieto - Monte Amiata (230 kilometers / 143 miles)

Start your day by the Civita di Bagnoregio, an imposing semi-abandoned Etruscan city perched on a rock. Then, you will ride along lake Bolsena towards the village of Pitigliano. In the afternoon, you will have a bath in the enchanting hot springs of Saturnia and then, reach the mountain of Monte Amiata.

Day 5, September 25: Monte Amiata - Pescia (246 kilometers / 153 miles)

Through the Orcia valley roads, you will reach San Gimignano, a preserved medieval village nicknamed the "Manhattan" of Tuscany due to its numerous towers. Then the rolling hills of Northern Tuscany will take us to Pisa where you will admire the leaning tower and cathedral.

Day 6, September 26: Pescia - Massa (242 kilometers / 150 miles)

Before you hit the Apuanes mountain, you stop at the village of Collodi, the hometown of Pinocchio; then, you will climb the roads of Apuanes to the Monte Cimone, the highest peak of the Apennine mountain. Then after Castelnuovo, you will ride one of the best motorcycle roads of Italy in the Apuanes to reach Carrara, so well known for its marble. You will be impressed by the size of the local quarries.

Day 7, September 27: Massa - Rapallo (158 kilometers / 98 miles)

On this short mileage day, there will be numerous stops in some enchanting villages of the Cinque Terre national park: Portovenere, Manarola, Vernazza and so much more. A gorgeous road between the cliff and the sea. Then, you will reach Rapallo and beautiful bay of Portofino one the Italian Riviera.

Day 8, September 28: Rapallo (departure)

This is the end of your Italian holiday.
