Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

On arrival in Delhi, you will meet Royal Bike Riders' representative at the airport with garland welcome and he will assist you to a hotel for smooth check in. After long journeys, have a hot shower and rest. If you have a morning flight, then you can visit historical monuments of Old Delhi. Royal Bike Riders gives some details about monuments below.

Humayun’s Tomb is one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture in India. It was built in 1565 after the death of Humayun. Here, the garden is so beautiful and pathway. You will see many graves of the Mughal rulers.

Red Fort was the royal residence for Mughal Emperors for more than 200 years. It has many palaces built by red stones and marble. Red fort walls built in 1638 of red stones are 33-meter high, designed to keep out invaders. After all these world’s famous sightseeing sessions, come back to the hotel and stay overnight in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi - Manali by train and car (550 kilometers / 342 miles / about 12-hour drive)

Today, you have to get up early for Manali and first, you will take a train from New Delhi station to Kalka. Your driver will pick you up at Kalka station and take you to the Manali. Manali is situated near the end of the valley on the national highway to Leh. The landscape here is spectacular and a lot of tourists come to Manali to enjoy a great time with family and friends. Arrive at Manali and check into your hotel and rest. Your overnight stay will be in Manali. Note that Royal Bike Riders will try to take a flight from Delhi to Kullu but the weather is only the obstacle for the flight operation and the Kullu-Manali Airport (KUU) is a very small airport so only ATR planes are landing there.

Day 3: Manali - Jispa (Altitude: 10,500 feet) (145 kilometers / 90 miles / about 6-hour ride)

The morning after breakfast, start riding to Jispa (3,142 meters) over Rohtang La pass (3980 meters). Jispa is a very beautiful village situated on the bank of Bhaga River and the surrounding peaks are covered with mist and clouds creating an awesome view.

On arrival in Jispa, check into the hotel Ibex and relax. Later, explore the area by a walk. In the evening, you'll have a party time right on the bank of the river. The overnight stay will be at a hotel in Jispa.

Day 4: Jispa - Tso Kar Lake (Altitude: 4,530 meters) (220 kilometers / 137 miles / about 6 to 7-hour ride)

After breakfast, you will start your riding and today in your Himalayan adventure, you will experience some water crossing and water stream on the road. On the way to Tso Kar Lake, you will cross your second pass at Baralacha Pass at 4,890 meters. Later, you will stop for a tea break in Bharatpur. After the tea break, you will see the great Trans-Himalayan spectacular view in Sarchu where spectacular view always attracts you to click many photos of the Himalaya.

It’s time to have fun with many hairpin curves at Ghata Loops that are 19 in numbers. After this Nakeela Pass, come at 15,547 feet. You will continue your ride to more plains and hit the newly paved road and take an off-road riding up to Tso Kar Lake. Your overnight stay will be at a camp.

Day 5: Tso Kar Lake - Leh (Altitude: 10,500 feet) (215 kilometers / 134 miles / about 7-hour ride)

After breakfast at Tso Kar Lake, you'll start riding towards Leh. On this day, you will enjoy an off-road riding, some on the sand. You will stop in Pang for a tea break. Don’t forget to take pictures while on Tanglang La pass (world’s third highest pass). After crossing this pass, you will be riding down towards Leh and en-route, there are some villages alongside the road. En-route, enjoy the pretty village alongside the Indus River. On arrival in Leh, check into a hotel and relax.

Day 6: Explore Indus Valley (Local sightseeing around Leh)

In the morning after breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to the Indus Valley, visiting Shey Palace, a ruined castle. After that, visit the 14th-century Thikse monastery. It is an outstanding specimen of Ladakhi architecture. It is a glorious Buddhist monastery and a marvelous Buddha statue in a seated position is adorning the main prayer hall. Later, visit the Hemis monastery, the richest monastery in Ladakh. In the last, visit the Royal Stok Palace and museum (residence of the royal family of Ladakh). Later, get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Leh - Khardung La pass - Nubra Valley (Altitude: 10,000 feet) (120 kilometers / 75 miles / 5 to 6-hour ride)

After breakfast, you'll ride about 39 kilometers / 24 miles to Khardungla La pass (the world’s highest motorable road at a height of 5,606 meters) where you take a stop for photography because the view from the top is spectacular. Take a cup of coffee at this world’s highest point. Later, ride to Nubra Valley that is another 80 kilometers / 50 miles from Khardung La pass. Stay overnight in Nubra Valley.

Day 8: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (Altitude: 14,270 feet) (220 kilometers / 137 miles / 7 to 8-hour ride)

The morning after breakfast, drive to the famous blue brackish Pangong Lake by crossing many eye-catching views of villages below the pass. On arrival at Pangong Lake, check into your camp and relax. Later, explore the Pangong Lake where you feel close to nature and its beauty. Stay overnight at the camp near to Pangong Lake.

Day 9: Pangong Lake to Leh (Altitude 11,500 feet) (160 kilometers / 99 miles / 5 to 6-hour ride)

Get up early morning, enjoy a scenic view of the lake, and have a walk to the lake. After breakfast, you'll ride to Leh (160 kilometers / 99 miles / 6-hour ride). En-route, visit Changlang La pass. You will have a tea break at Changlang La pass and have some chat with an army personnel and visit a local temple for your memorable ride to Himalaya. Later, you'll move to Leh. On arrival in Leh, check into a hotel and relax. The overnight stay will be in Leh.

Day 10: Leh - Tso Moriri Lake via Mahe Bridge (Maximum altitude: 15,080 feet) (260 kilometers / 161.5 miles / 6-hour ride)

After breakfast, drive to Tso Moriri Lake. Tso Moriri Lake is a high altitude lake in Ladakh. It is situated at a height of 4,595 meters above sea level. En-route, you will stop for tea and lunch break and enjoy a spectacular view of Himalaya. Most of the ride is on the Indus River that is a symbol of Indus civilization in East World. On arrival in Tso Moriri, check into your camp and relax. Stay overnight in Tso Moriri.

Day 11: Tso Moriri Lake - Sarchu (Maximum altitude: 4,290 meters) (220 kilometers / 137 miles / 6-hour ride)

After breakfast, proceed for Sarchu. En-route, have a spectacular view of the Tso Kar Lake. After riding many kilometers off road, you will catch up the main road (Manali - Leh). This time is for Gata Loops. Actually, there are 19 slopes when you are coming to Sarchu from Tso Moriri Lake. En-route, you will have a break on a picturesque sight and take some photos of the landscape. On arrival in Sarchu, check into your camp. Your overnight stay will be in Sarchu.

Day 12: Sarchu - Manali with a visit to Rohtang Pass en-route (Maximum altitude: 6,726 feet) (210 kilometers / 130 miles / 6-hour ride)

After breakfast, you'll ride your legendary Royal Enfield towards Manali. You'll have 1 more opportunity to cross a muddy road at Rohtang Pass and you'll cross the same villages and towns which you have crossed on the way to Jispa on day 4. You'll stop for lunch at Keylong and later continue your ride to Manali. Arrive at Manali and check into your hotel. In the evening, you all will go for Mall Road to enjoy your dinner and beers. Your overnight stay will be in Manali.

Day 13: Manali, free day to relax and farewell party

After breakfast, you'll have an option for a short ride or a relaxing day at the hotel, or you can explore Manali with Royal Bike Riders. You'll have lunch in the town and walk to a market of Manali. In the evening, you will have a farewell party with music and drinks along with lots of chat about the tour and of course your suggestions. You will stay overnight in Manali.

Day 14: Manali - Kalka - Delhi by car and air-conditioned train (Maximum altitude: 11,500 feet) (550 kilometers / 342 kilometers / 1-day journey)

After breakfast, you'll leave early for Kalka railway station from where you will catch a broad gauge train up to Delhi. Manali to Kalka is a mountainous road and it takes more time due to the traffic and road condition. You'll have your evening train and this train takes 4 hours to reach Delhi. Your driver will pick up you at New Delhi railway station and take you to your hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.

Notes: If the flight is operating from Kullu-Manali Airport (KUU), then you will take a flight from Kullu to New Delhi that takes only 1-hour. Otherwise, you have to reach New Delhi by the road that takes 12 hours.

Day 15: Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) for your flight home. If you have an evening or night flight, then you can go for shopping or sightseeing in Old Delhi and New Delhi. Later, you will be transferred to the airport. Your adventure and culture motorcycle tour to Himalaya concludes with sweet memories.
