During this tour, you will be staying at different accommodations provided by StrayDog Adventures.


Day 1: Phnom Penh - Kampong Cham - Snuol

The tour leaves Phnom Penh in the morning by motorway and then heads east following the Mekong and passing through the Kampong Cham province. In Kampong Cham itself, you will stop for lunch. After lunch, you continue onto Snuol following Highway 7. Here, you will stop for the night. The first day allows you to get to know your bike and to enjoy the Cambodian countryside.

Day 2: Snuol - Senmonorom

Getting off to an early start, you head off to your first stretch of off-roading. After 20 kilometers, you take the king’s trail, it is 100 kilometers of red dust, mud, rock, bamboo forest, and sand. The trail takes in small isolated villages and wonderful view from the hills. Arrive in Senmonorom where you will stop for the night and get a well-deserved rest.

Day 3: Senmonorom - Banlung (via Boo Sra Waterfall)

After another early start, you ride down to the amazing Boo Sra Waterfall. Following the waterfall is another hard day’s ride. Stop off at hill tribes along the way. You end the day in Banlung.

Day 4: Banlung rest day

After 2 days of hard riding, you enjoy a day in and around Banlung, Ratanakiri Province's biggest town. The town is home to the spectacular Yeak Laom volcanic lake which is surrounded by tropical forests. The lake’s clear waters will be a refreshing break. In addition, you will visit some great waterfalls where riders can leap 30 feet into the water below.

Day 5: Banlung - Laos border (Preh Angkaul)

Riding on some of the best trails and crossing multiple rivers, you head north to the Laos border then follow the mighty Mekong to the riverside town of Stung Treng. There, you will enjoy some cold beverages and watch the sunset over the river.

Day 6: Laos border - Preah Vihear Temple

Taking a few hours of ride on wide trails, you will visit Preah Vihear Temple which is a classified UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Dangrek Mountains with a beer in hand.

Day 7: Preah Vihear - Koh Ker

It is a temple-to-temple day. Leave Preah Vihear for the Koh Ker temple complex. The trail is gonna be muddy in few hills in the countryside. It is a great fun day.

Day 8: Koh Ker - Preah Khan

It is a pretty similar day as the one before with the same kind of rocking trails. Stop at the Preah Khan temple, a 10th-century Buddhist temple.

Day 9: Preah Khan - Siem Reap

The road will take you along sandy trails. Stop for lunch at the Beng Mealea temple. The trip to Siem Reap is along sandy and rocky trails, then along the muddy and rocky Road 64.

Day 10: Rest day and Angkor Wat temple complex

It is up to you what you do with your day today. You could lay by the pool and relax or shop at one of Siem Reap’s markets, explore the city, or visit the ancient Angkor temple complex or all of the above! In the evening, you regroup for dinner and watch a traditional Khmer dance.

Notes: Depending on your ability, you may encounter a variety of terrain. You can experience everything from sand, gravel, rocks, loam, hills, valleys, fields, forests, and more. The size of the trails ranges from 12 feet wide to 1 feet wide.
