Duncan Green

Originally hailed from Somerset in the UK, Duncan has been living in Thailand for many years, primarily to ride motorcycles on the brilliant roads throughout the country. Duncan moved to Chiang Mai in 2010 where he met Jeff via the shop. The two became firm friends and riding buddies. He subsequently joined Jeff in 2013 to replace Tony. He is a very proficient rider both on and off the road and his stable currently includes a Triumph Tiger 1050, Honda CB1100EX, Suzuki GSX1400, and tweaked Honda CRF250.

Jeff Pike

Jeff is a passionate biker. He is originally from Poole, Dorset, in England and has been legally riding since 1979. He visited Southeast Asia in 2001 for an off-road motorcycle tour to Laos based out of Chiang Mai. He fell in love with the place and after many subsequent visits, he also fell in love with a local girl and relocated here in 2005. Jeff's pride and joy are his beautifully tuned and lightly customized Triumph Bonneville. He also owns a Royal Enfield Classic 500 back in England, which gets ridden once a year.

    "We did the 6 day offroad tour of Northern Thailand. Duncan guided and was very good. We highly recommend this company! Very easy to do the booking. Duncan seems to know every random road in Northern Thailand and adjusted the ride based on weather as well as our ability. We had an amazing time! Even had time to go ride elephants in Pai and see some really rural villages. I highly recommend going this way vs. planning on your own. 100% recommend these guys. Bikes were also in good condition and no nit picky stuff from them. Only had to cover our beer! Amazing."

    "My wife and I went on a guided 6 day/night dirt bike trip with TBB. We had an amazing time. Our guides Duncan and Nhat were knowledgeable, prepared, and fun. The bikes worked perfectly. They adjusted our itinerary to fit our riding and vacation style as we went. The riding was great, but we were also able to do/see alot more than just ride... including stuff beyond the normal tourist sites. There is no way we would have had such a good vacation renting and navigating on our own. We were able to relax because Duncan and Nhat handled the detailed planning. Although Thailand is cheap, this is still a great value considering what we were able to experience in a short amount of time. I already want to go back and do it again!"

    "Awesome experience. I rented a bike from them for 4 days and took it through the country side. Bike had 0 problems. They provided me with helmet and a jacket. They held my luggage at their shop also so I didn't have to lug all my stuff with me. The biggest concern I had was having my passport held, however I decided to trust them based on the positive reviews that they have. I definitely made the right choice, return went very smooth, no issues at all. I would definitely rent from them again."

    "I've been a customer of Tony's Big Bikes for years and I love the ritual of picking up the bikes on a Saturday morning and returning them on Sunday evening after a weekend off or on-road. The staff is always super friendly and professional. We always get great gear and perfect bikes. What differentiates Tony's Big Bike from all others is their excellent customer service. They always go out of their way to provide us with up to date routes and recommendations. That's worth more than anything, especially for off-road trips where conditions change with each season."
