Throughout your journey, you will sleep at several accommodations provided by TBB Tours.


This is a tour suitable for anyone with a reasonable amount of "big bike" experience and pillions are welcome. TBB Tours doesn't ride extremely fast and definitely not recklessly, but you must be competent and comfortable with speeds averaging between 80 - 120 kph.


  • Day 1: You will depart from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai to visit the White Temple.
  • Day 2: You will ride from Chiang Rai to Chiang Khong and walk across the border into Myanmar to visit the Golden Triangle and Opium Museum.
  • Day 3: You will ride from Chiang Kong to Luang Namtha, crossing the border to Laos.
  • Day 4: You will ride from Luang Namtha to Muang La. You will spend the night by the banks of the river.
  • Day 5: You will ride from Muang la to Luang Prabang. This road has just been resurfaced and it is a rider's dream to ride through this road.
  • Day 6: You will have a day off to explore Luang Prabang.
  • Day 7: You will ride from Luang Prabang to Vientiane. This road is one of the most scenic roads in South East Asia.
  • Day 8: You will have a day off to explore Vientiane.
  • Day 9: You will ride from Vientiane to Chiang Khan. You will cross back to Thailand and ride 200 kilometers along the Mekong River.
  • Day 10: You will ride from Chiang Khan to Nam Pat. You will ride through 4 national parks in one day.
  • Day 11: You will ride from Nam Pat back to Chiang Mai for 200 kilometers.
