Forget the stuffy buses, noisy bars, and expensive rental cars! Nothing comes close to the freedom and sheer exhilaration of zipping through Tuscany on the back of a swanky Vespa with The Vespa Trip. Smell the alluring aromas of sun-baked pine trees, vineyards, and olive groves. Take in the sights and sounds before sitting down to a full lunch at a quaint family owned restaurant which nestles amongst the Florentine hills.
You will stay for 6 nights in a single, double, or twin room at several hotels during the whole trip.
The hotels are carefully selected by the team. The hotels mentioned are last edition's hotels and can slightly differ this summer.
The Vespa Trip always starts on Monday evening and ends on Sunday morning. On the first day of the trip, somebody from The Vespa Trip will meet you at your first hotel's reception lobby and hand you over all the necessary information. You can check-in after 15:00. That evening around 20:00, The Vespa Trip will organize a welcome drink in a local bar. the trip will start the next morning. After some driving instructions, do's and don'ts, you'll leave the city center and will be back on Saturday evening. After a final dinner and party that evening, the next morning, the trip is finished.
Important landmarks on the route are the cities of San Gimignano, Siena, Firenze, Vinci, Lucca, Pisa, and the awe-inspiring remoted village of Montefegatesi on top of the hills.You'll be able to cross some of the world’s most impressive vineyards and follow the beautiful Lima river.
You can experience this trip all on your own with a GPS and roadbook or you can follow the guide and experience the trip together with the other Vespatrippers. You don't have to choose this in advance, you can choose every day to follow the guide or go solo. Don't worry about your luggage, The Vespa Trip will bring it to your next hotel. For large groups (more than 10 persons), the GPS is offered for free.
This motorcycle trip will start and end in Pisa. The trip will cover several places in Italy including Pontedera, San Gimignano, Siena, Radda in Chianti, Firenze, Vinci, Lucca, Montefegatesi, a beach, and Pisa.
