Check-in Time:

You will be accommodated on a twin or triple sharing bases in standard hotels / tents / camps with neat and tidy rooms and western washrooms. All tent accommodation will be in Swiss camps with attached western washrooms. If the group number is odd, then 1 room will be on triple sharing.

Only on 4 nights, you will be accommodated in tents and on other nights, you will be accommodated in hotels/guesthouse/houseboat.


Arrival Day: Delhi - Manali

Travel from Delhi to Manali through an overnight journey in Volvo.

Day 1: Manali

Once you check in the Manali hotel, you can relax, order your lunch, and take a sleep after a night journey. Today is the day for bike checkup and test rides for the riders. Evening tea is the orientation meet time. It’s very important as the group gets the briefing on the entire tour. The riders are introduced to each other and are open to asking any of the queries from the tour leader.

The mechanic will give a brief introduction about the Royal Enfield bike and its basic handling. Do’s and Don’ts are not to missed by anyone as the tour which you have chosen is not a visit to a hill station, it’s Leh and it’s different.

Day 2: Manali - Jispa, 120 kilometers / 75 miles

Today you have to cross the Rohtang La with the altitude of 3,878 meters. This route will make you feel the heights of snow-covered Rohtang La and then the green field of Kelong valley. This day is also important for the bikes and the bikers as you will cross the first pass of this route, Rohtang La, one of the worst but the most lovable pass of the rider. Stay at Jispa for the night.

  • Altitude: 3,080 meters

Day 3: Jispa - Sarchu, 110 kilometers / 63 miles

The tour starts early in the morning after breakfast. You will cross Baralacha La (4,830 meters). This ride and this night stay is the most crucial stay of the entire tour the reason is that this night halt is at a place of the highest altitude in the entire tour where you have to stay at night. Riders must follow the health and the safety instructions of the tour leader. You will stay at Sarchu in tents.

  • Altitude: 4,000 meters / 13,850 feet

Day 4: Sarchu - Leh, 230 kilometers / 143 miles

Sarchu is the last town of Himachal Pradesh and after this, you enter the state of Jammu and Kashmir. This road is having many passes. The road is rough so the riders have to be very cautious. You will cross Nakeela Pass (15,547 feet) and Lachulungla Pass (16,616 feet).

After that comes the Great Gyanchuthang Plains. This plain land with a straight road in the center is approximately 50 kilometers long. It leads to Thalang La (altitude 17,582 meters). It’s the worlds 2nd highest road. On the way, you will cross Upshi, Rumptse Village, and Upshi Village. Upshi river Indus will flow along the road. This river is originated from Kailash Mansarovar.

You have entered the area of Indus valley civilization. One can see the barley field in these villages as its the main crops here. If you are lucky enough, far away from the main road you can see the nomads of Leh Ladakh with their flocks of sheep, famous for pashmina wool. Stay overnight at Leh hotel.

  • Altitude: 3,500 meters / 11,500 feet

Day 5: Leh - free day

Today, your bikes will be checked. If one is feeling okay, you can visit Shanti Stupa ,Thiskey Monastry, Shey Palace and go to the famous Tibet market. This day is free for shopping. If you are interested, Tony Bike Centre can arrange local cabs for you for river rafting in Indus river at your own cost. You get rested for the adventure ride on the next day.

Day 6: Leh - Kahardung La - Nubra Valley, 110 kilometers / 68 miles

Today, you will ride the highest motorable road in the world. It’s the most exciting and the most challenging path of the tour. This route is the old silk route which leads to China. This route also leads to Siachen glacier. To ride on this road and to reach the pass is the main target of this 11-day-long tour. You can take as many photos as you can with the historical board behind you saying ‘you are at the highest motorable road in the world’.

Crossing Khardung La, you will enter the Nubra Valley. Stay overnight Swiss tents.

  • Altitude: 5,620 meters / 18,380 feet

Day 7: Nubra Valley - Pangong Tso, 164 kilometers / 102 miles

On the way to Pangong Lake, there is the Chang La pass (altitude 17,658 meters). It’s the 3rd highest motorable pass of the world. Tangste is the place from where The Karakoram Range of mountains start and the river Shayok flows along it. This area is exposed to direct ultraviolet sun rays.

On the way, there is the Pangong lake, the highest natural salt lake in Asia which is a real treat for your eyes. Its first look will make you speechless. It’s 160 kilometers long and has a turquoise color. One-third part of the lake is in India and the rest is in China. The color combination of this crystal clear lake with the surrounding mountains will pamper your eyes. You will stay in the tent accommodation along the lakeside in Spangmik Village.

  • Altitude: 15,000 feet

Day 8: Pangong Tso - Leh

On the way back to Leh, you will visit the famous three idiot school, The Lotus Valley School and you can have lunch there.

Day 9: Leh - Sarchu, 220 kilometers / 137 miles

Stay in a tent for the night.

Day 10: Sarchu - Manali, 208 kilometers

Stay at Manali Hotel for the night.

Day 11: Manali - Delhi

After breakfast, you can check out by 12 noon and can do shopping on the famous mall road of Manali. By evening you have to board the volvo for Delhi. It will be an overnight journey from Manali to Delhi. You will have an overnight trip in Volvo bus and it will take 13 to 14 hours.

Note: It’s a very adventurous and a very unpredictable route but Tony Bike Centre can assure you that once you are with them you will surely feel that you are in safe hands and made a right choice to choose them. Tony Bike Centre will make the ride most enjoyable and memorable experience of your life.

This tour will take place in India and you will visit several places such as Manali, Jispa, Sarchu, Leh, Khardung La, Pangong, and Manali.


Meals will be provided on MAP plan, two meals (breakfast and dinner) at eating joints on the way and may not be in major towns where people prefer to have platters according to their personal tastes. From dinner on day one at Manali until breakfast at day 11 at Manali before check-out from the hotel

  • Any kind of state fees, tolls, parking, traffic challans for bikes or any local people charging entry fees to any place
  • Charges for transporting the bike from the leaving point till Manali will be chargeable in case the rider leaves the motorbike tour
