This 2-day adventure tour will allow you to discover some of the best towns of Tuscany and enjoy the wonderful landscapes of the Chianti and the Val d’Orcia (the south of Siena). During these two days, you will ride the motorbikes over more than 300 kilometers (no highways) for a total of near 8 hours' ride. The accommodation for this tour is a mid-range hotel in the countryside. You will be accommodated in a shared bedroom with a single bed.

Program

Itinerary

Day 1: Florence - Monteriggioni - Siena - Montalcino - Abbey of Sant'Antimo - Val d’Orcia

You will have a meeting at 09:00 in Florence and depart at 9:30. You will ride through the Cassia road to the heart of the Chianti, the Castellina in Chianti for a coffee. From Castellina, you will go south to the medieval town of Monteriggioni. After a quick visit to Monteriggioni, you will continue your journey to Siena where you will have time to make a walk and have lunch. Then, it is time to visit Montalcino, a wonderful town that is famous for its wine. After that, it is only a few more kilometers to reach the Abbey of Sant’Antimo, a former Benedictine monastery which is almost 1,000 years old! At 18:00, arrival at the hotel and relax. You will spend the night and have dinner in a nice quiet place in the countryside.

Day 2: Val d’Orcia - Pienza - Castelnuovo Berardenga - Radda in Chianti - Greve in Chianti - Florence

You will have a meeting at 09:30 after breakfast towards Pienza. You will enjoy this little medieval city, it’s narrow streets and the fantastic view over the country. Then, you will start to go north to Castelnuovo Berardenga and will stop for lunch. Keep riding across the Chiantishire to Radda for a walk, coffee or gelato. After that, you reach your last stop on this tour, you will see the main town of the Chianti, the Greve in Chianti. At 18:00, return to Florence. You will get back to the starting point from the Chiantigiana road and give back the motorcycles.

  • Type A: BMW S1000R, S1000XR, R1250GS, R1200GSA, R1250RT, Ducati Scrambler 1100, Multistrada 1260, Diavel, Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Limited;
  • Type B: BMW R1250R, R NINE T, F850GS, R1200RS, Ducati Multistrada 950, Supersport, Moto Guzzi V85 TT, Harley-Davidson Street Bob, Classic, Road King;
  • Type C: BMW F750GS, F700GS, F800GS, F800GT, F800R, Ducati Scrambler 800, Monster 797, Moto Guzzi V7, Harley-Davidson SuperLow 1200 T
  • Your own bike (more than 250cc)

Notes

  • Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the departure.
  • You’ll need to be 21 and have a valid motorcycle license.
  • If you want to bring your own motorbike, please note that the bike should be more than 250cc.
