Day 5: Guerrero Negro - Loreto, 250 miles / 403 kilometers

From Guerrero Negro, famous for its production of salt and its whales, you will continue on to the east coast. You will pass over Devil’s Grade, a well-known and notorious mountain road with many bends. After six days of motorbiking, you will enjoy resting in this luxurious resort. There will be time to relax on the beach, to stroll through the marina, or go souvenir shopping. It is worth mentioning that the road here looks completely different on the return journey because of the contrasting light fall. After a long day of riding inland, you will be pleasantly surprised by the brilliant vistas over the Sea of Cortez. There will be time for an evening stroll along Loreto’s boulevard.

Day 11: Loreto - San Ignacio, 150 miles /242 kilometers

Day 13: Cataviña - Ensenada, 205 miles / 330 kilometers

The rough, dry terrain will slowly be replaced by green pastures. You will encounter more villages before reaching Ensenada again. Here, you will find so many fun bars to frequent that the evening will not seem long enough.

Day 14: Ensenada - Los Angeles, 205 miles / 330 kilometers

Up the coast via the scenic route, you will arrive at one of the busiest borders in the world, so it could take a while before you are able to continue your journey on better-quality American tarmac roads.
