Program

Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town

After arrival transfer to the hotel, briefly in the room to refresh. Then your guide will hold a small preliminary meeting at the welcome drink at the start of the tour. In the evening we enjoy the nightlife on Kloof Street after a short walk.

Day 2: Cape Town - day off

You pick up the Harleys in the morning. You explore the surroundings of this beautiful city on a motorcycle, which lies at the foot of Table Mountain, surrounded by national parks and two oceans. If possible, you take the cable car up to Table Mountain to enjoy the famous view. You end the day with a delicious dinner at Harbor House.

Day 3: Cape Town - Aquila Game Reserve (220 kilometers / 137 miles)

You drive the first kilometers on the highway and quickly leave the city of millions behind you. Via Paarl and Wellington, you reach the Kloofs Pass, where you have fun with the first corners on the first day.

Day 4: Aquila Game Reserve - free day

A relaxing day, but you should get up early because this exclusive reserve (7,500 hectares) has the Big-5; Elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. There are also giraffes. Aquila Game Reserve is located in the Western Cape, but you will feel like you are in "Safari Africa". So relax with at least one game drive in the morning and evening and during the day (e.g. in the exclusive spa, massage) or explore the reserve with a quad.

Day 5: Aquila Game Reserve - Oudtshoorn (330 kilometers / 205 miles)

Via Montagu, Barrydale, and Ladismith you drive on lonely roads through a desert-like landscape. Pleasant curves and a cup of coffee in the Ronnies (innocent) sex shop. You spend the night in the cozy Oudtshoorn. Here, you can visit one of the many ostrich farms. The best food; Ostrich steak!

Day 6: Oudtshoorn - Addo (380 kilometers / 236 miles)

You drive through remote areas, here and there a small village, agricultural workers to Addo. You spend the night near the famous Addo Elephant Park.

Day 7: Addo - free day

This huge nature park is home to the largest herds of elephants in the world, which you will admire on a jeep safari!

Day 8: Addo - Knysna (315 kilometers / 196 miles)

Everything is different in Knysna; Sun, sea, beautiful plots, excellent restaurants. You drive on the famous “Garden Route”, one of the most famous destinations in South Africa. In addition to coastal areas and lush rainforests, you will find beautiful beaches between rocks and high mountains. At the end of the afternoon, you end the day with a relaxed boat tour to enjoy the sunset with a glass.

Day 9: Free day in Knysna

You stay in Knysna. In the morning, you drive to Tsitsikamma. Here is an exciting canopy tour of your program. In the three-hour journey, you glide along the steel cables from platform to platform. Spectacular but not dangerous.

Day 10: Knysna - Hermanus (420 kilometers / 261 miles)

You drive along the Garden Route parallel with the coast, which you can only see occasionally. Along Swellendam, again a typical Dutch village with beautiful architecture, where time seems to have stopped, a shortstop in Mossel Bay (from the Dutch, who used to catch mussels, oysters, and lobsters here in the past) to Hermanus. This is the "whale capital" of South Africa. From July to November, these 16-meter and 60-ton mammals, also known as "Southern Rights", come to the Cape to mate.

Day 11: Hermanus - Franschhoek (150 kilometers / 93 miles)

Get up early, because today you're going to do a Shark Cage Dive! You will get to see the great white shark from very close. In a cage directly underwater or from a boat. After this excursion, you continue to beautiful Franschhoek.

Day 12: Franschhoek - free day

There are numerous renowned wineries in the area around Franschhoek. Car fans visit the L'Ormarins site. Here is an impressive collection of antique cars in the Franschhoek Motor Museum. Wine connoisseurs will enjoy the large selection of wines.

Day 13: Franschhoek - Cape Town (120 kilometers / 75 miles)

Today, you drive towards Cape Town, but only along the picturesque Atlantic Coast. Make a stop in Hout Bay and visit the "World Of Birds", the largest bird park in Africa. You reach Cape Town after endless curves and the famous Chapmanspeak !. You're giving up your Harleys ... this part ends here.

Day 14: Cape Town - day off

Relax on the "Waterfront" (the really worthwhile center), the Table Mountain on foot or with the gondola or visit a township. One day is too short and there is a lot to experience!

Day 15: Departure from Cape Town

The hotel shuttle is ready to take you to the airport for your flight home ... Or maybe you want to extend your trip? Of course, USA on Wheels also books your special requests.
